I was torn between a 4 and 5 star rating on this simply, but after all i'm gonna give it a 5, simply because i tried a few other music and charge cables before this one, the first from amazon didnt charge the phone, the 2nd from a Facebook advertisement from rocketgadget had a horrible clicking sound. If anything trust me guys just buy this cable, I tried avoiding it cause of the price and ended up spending almost the same amount on multiple cheaper options that didnt work anyway.

Used the adapter in order to support a 6 hour class that included PPt slides throughout. The set-up (HDMI to a large screen monitor) worked flawlessly. Rated 5 for performance out of the box, but I have no idea regarding longer term reliability. Also works fine as a direct wired hook up to my “smart” TV alternative to bluetooth. The picture may be even more crisp (but then that may be a bit rexpectation bias).I like it.

Excellent bit of kit. Previously I'd found that the standard camera connection kit used with my audioquest dragonfly amp/dac simply drained my iPhone battery far too rapidly on long train journeys. This adapter solves that problem. Now I can charge at the same time as listening to music And preserve my battery life!

Great product not sure how long it will last with not been a apple product daughter was happy

Got this for my husband! He loves being able to charge his phone and use his headphones. This is really a great product if you use your phone at night/in bed to watch movies or listen to music. Wake up with a fully charged phone.

if you want to charge and listen at same time it crackles

I had to return mine as it couldn’t charge and play music at the same time. I may have been unlucky, but it didn’t work for me.
