Almost Everything You Need to Know About Cockapoos Paperback – July 30, 2013

Easy reading and very informative. However the book I received had a whole chapter missing from the book and then realized there were also about 15 pages missing in the middle.

i read the reviews before buying the book and was expecting a good book. it's way better than i thought!! diane goes into clear and precise detail on how to groom, bathe, and trim these wonderful dogs. it's all very workable. it's an easy to read book that will hold your attention. i highly recommend it to everyone with a cockapoo or anyone thinking of getting one.

not what I was looking for. too much history not enough training.

You should really get this book BEFORE you get your Cockapoo, because it's full of information that you won't find anywhere else. There's a Chapter telling you exactly what you need to have on hand before your puppy arrives, and the best part is you can order most of it right on Amazon, which I'm doing today. This is the most comprehensive book on the Cockapoo I've found- it's over a hundred pages longer than any of the others, and includes a whole chapter on grooming, with step-by- instructions for brushing, trimming and even bathing. (Who knew if you bathe your dog wrong, you'll make more mats?! I know that I didn't!) Although the author recommends several other books written by other authors (including training books and cookbooks if you want to cook for your dog) this is the only Cockapoo book you'll need.

I have a few books of Diane Klumb's, from over the years, and like always, she didn't disappoint in her Cockapoo book! Her books are comprehensive, well researched and easy to read and understand, plus include a plethora of insight and information that is not only breed specific, but valuable information for any 'doodle' owner. You won't be sorry you bought this book. Her witty humor, always adds so much to her writings! If you want a book that has specific information with the latest research information and is very breed specific, don't waste your time with some 'fluff' book... Get Diane Klumb's book. You'll be glad you did.

I read this book and then I read it again. What a refreshing departure from the almost encyclopedic breed specific reference books that we've all purchased over the years!Diane is that rare breed of author who can convey comprehensive and sometimes complex (i.e. canine genetics) information in a manner that is not only easy to understand but feels almost conversational, with just the right amount of wit and humor to keep it interesting.I learned a lot about not only this wonderful breed but dogs in general and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This book did come in handy when I bought my cockapoo and has some good information. I was hoping it would have more specific details on certain subjects like bathing, dental etc. The book is American so there are details that wont apply to uk based owners.
