Predator: The Essential Comics Volume 1 Paperback – December 24, 2018

I give it too my son for Christmas and he was really happy with it . He loves how it has more then one comic book and it and it is very thick book.

This book is beautifully made and put together. I can’t wait for them to put together several more of them. I also have the Aliens Essential book vol 1. And that one to is very nice. My books came in mint and no issues what’s so ever. Get it. Lay back on recliner and enjoy read it. I’m interested in only the comic book version so I am looking for help on which all are actual comics vs a novel. I do like novels but I want the comics so if anyone can give me a list of actual comics like the Omnibus books. Let me know. Thanks.

I’ve loved this comic series since it first released in the late 1980s-early 1990s, so its a real treat to have it in a mobile digital format!

This collection of Predator comics contains the original 3 story arcs of comics staring Detective Schaefer, otherwise known as Arnold Schwarzenegger's character from the first Predator films older brother who is a New York detective and shares a similar appearance to Schwarzenegger. These books are well illustrated and the writing is pretty fun. The fourth book in the collection is a comic adaptation of the film Predator 2. I think it's somewhat of a waste of ink and space as it follows the film exactly recreating shots scene by scene. Maybe I just don't get it but why wouldn't you just go watch the movie at that point? The first 3 Schaefer stories are here I don't know why Hunters 3 doesn't finish out the book as it's the return of Detective "John Schaefer in the comics after 20 years.Anyways this is an awesome way to experience Concrete Jungle, Cold War and Dark River for the first time. You also get the comic adaptation of Predator 2.

Brilliantly written and the artwork is incredible . Cold War is the best and Predator 2 artwork was just like watching the movie , really recommend

I found Predator to be the weakest of the Alien, Predator, and AVP collections. It's unfortunate that vol 2's got cancelled. These were the better collections for storytelling.Hopefully Marvel will release OHC for each variant.
