The two stones I received did not have a visible star as the picture showed. Even in bright light, the star, as in the picture was nonexistence.

Was concerned at first after reading previous reviews. But then I saw the light.

Made a walking stick for injured friend.Hoped stone would star in sunshine.It will but you must turn it correctly.Color and polish excellent!

The media could not be loaded. Seriously gorgeous translucent red corundum with an excellent asterism. A nice change and more fitting for a men’s ring compared to all the opaque pink lab star rubies out there. The cab is wonderfully large too around 12x10 with a very nice dome height (can’t stand it when oval & round cabs are cut so low & flat)
