Electric Immersion Water Heater Portable Water Boiler for Travel 0.5kW 500W 230V

Bought this to take on a 3 month traveling trip to S.E. Asia. Can’t live without brews and kettles in the room in cheaper accommodation is rare. So being able to have a coffee without going out first thing in a morning was great. Also used to heat water for noodle pots. It’s sturdy, light and packs easily. It will be coming on all future travel trips.

Ignore the quoted "12 mins for 1 litre of water", as I found this 500w element heats a standard cup of cold water to too hot to drink in just 2 mins. Looks well-made and should last. Recommended.

Very handy for those continental hotels that don't provide a kettle in the room.

It works well for boiling water but if you try to heat milk soup the liquid stick to the element and you have one big job to clean it

Have yet to travel with it but it heats up a mug of water quickly enough for me. I will be able to have as many cups of tea as I want especially at the end of a long hectic day.

Nothing to dislike. It does the work as it is expected to do it.

Unfortunately it stopped working after only 2 minutes, thought it would be longer lasting for £18...
