Dobro Wall Chart Wall Chart – October 6, 2006

This is a great intro to the instrument for the beginning doborist. This plus a decent instruction book and/or DVD could cause you to lose all track of time. Pull up your notes and charts from your favorite songs, take a look at the charts, and you're off to the races. Her chart will help you break out of the "perpendicular box" (that your bar must always be at a 90 degree angle to the strings)...that's just not how a dobro works. But she also throws in some music theory (i.e. circle of fifths) that will come in handy.The chart is easy to read, and belongs in your woodshed.

I really like it, though a bit big. So I have it tucked away until I really need it.It would be really nice to have it in Open D and in C6 too!But, maybe I have to create my own!

I already know most of the stuff on here. Chords fret positions take up most of the poster. It is okay but I would not buy it again.

Not what I expected. Nice poster for a music classroom, but the information is somewhat oddly organized. Had I been able to see what was on the chart, I probably would not have purchased it. Limited value outside a classroom, although it is made from a nice laminate coated paper.

I didn't think about the wall space to hang it!

Don't understand it all yet as a beginning dobro player but getting there. And it's an artful reminder to practice and play.

This is a large chart, 24IN Deep. By 35 IN. WIDE, good visual instruction. I previously did not give this a good rating, because the supplier thought we had received, but we had not. I do believe it was because of the events happening with the Covid-19 virus, slowing shipping at customs. This chart is complete and presents valuable musical information, especially for beginners. This said, as far as finish goes, the product would be handier to use if it was supplied in a plastic-laminated format. As it is, you end up with a large, unprotected, flimsy, relatively fragile sheet of paper requiring framing to be of any practical use ...

Extremely useful item which provides a lot of information on one chart that is well laid out. Very helpful for the beginner. Chords and notes are all on the one chart and it is so nice to have them all there, easily available and highly visible, without having to flip from page to page in a book.
