Rooted: Going Deep into God’s Transforming Love

The whole premise of this 6 week study of Ephesians is to really comprehend how deep the Father's love is for us so we can in turn shine that light and have the ability to love others.Each day only takes about 15 minutes, but it goes deep. You will read and write 3-5 verses, think about what the scripture is saying about God and about us and anything else that stands out, then you will read the author's commentary and answer a few questions. So it is not a daunting amount of work, but this study has a good balance of learning how to dig into the word yourself and reading a Bible teacher's insight as well.

Are you rooted? Rooted in God's Love? Do you need to know who you are IN CHRIST? Lara William's new bible study Rooted will do just that! Before I read this book I will admit I was lost. I have now been found by the Amazing Grace of God. This book is not only timely but is much needed in our world today. Her in depth study of Ephesians brought out things in me I would have never imagined. You need this bible study! God's love is powerful and I am so thankful for digging deeper and getting closer to God! Thank you Lara for your realness and obedience to God!

Lara's new study, Rooted, walks you through the book of Ephesians in an easy, understandable fashion. As you read her insights you will feel as if Lara is right there enjoying a coffee with you ~ she is so real. Even though I have studied Ephesians before, Lara offers new insights and brings new life to the book. I would recommend Rooted to anyone who wants to grow in the Lord.

This book helps as a wonderful guide, pointing to God's love as expressed in the book of Ephesians, in God's love letter, the Bible. The writer takes you by the hand, so you don't feel alone, and walks with you through these verses and parts of her life. Then asks you, or really, gives you, the opportunity to make this love real -for yourself. And this is done in each week of the 6 weeks' sections!

My small group and I used this as our study in spring 2018. I enjoyed the author's down-to-earth study of Ephesians, which helps you find a wealth of practical application. Great study for a women's group!

In the study of Ephesians, God has opened my eyes to things in this study from His Word that has spoken to my heart greatly and in need. Daily, I have been reading small sections of Ephesians, while writing and meditating on Scripture. Each day in the study, Lara provides questions to help in seeing what God is revealing and His Truths, questions to help you apply the Word in your life, and she shares what God showed her. Being Rooted in His Word is her heart desire and to share God's love that comes down and out. She says it begins when we truly experience the love of God that we can then love the world - beginning with those in our homes and spreading to the ends of the earth. Amen sista!Lara reminded me in Ephesians of God's Truths, that nothing happens without going through His eternal hands of loving purpose. He has a plan, God can be fully trusted! I need to and am called to be a steward of the grace of God which has been given to me. I need to steward whenever and however He leads me. Lord, help me to desire obedience to Your Word, to be transformed by Your power, and to share the grace of Your Good News to all.
