WHAT? I can't hear you....
I've used a ton of Howard Leight products, they all work great. These are no different. Super comfortable, easy to use, and they provide the highest rating in the industry. To use, gradually spin between thumb and finger while squeezing. This will roll them into a small cylinder about the size of the end of a chopstick. Quickly insert into ear; pulling up on the upper part of your ear sometimes helps; angle them so they go ALL the way in. They won't get "lost." After 15-30 seconds, they will expand to original size.If they are not all the way in, they will not work. They have a shelf life; old ones will not work as well, so if you have some that are a few years old, get new ones. These are individually wrapped, which helps keep them clean and also extends shelf life a bit by not exposing all the plugs to the air, compared to a "bucket of plugs."

Good but not strong enough for me
It can cut off sound greatly like snoring. But if you want a quiet self moment in the restaurant this might not fit. Can still hear people conversation etc

Comfortable ear plugs
These ear plugs are the glue that's keeping my 19 year marriage together. The hubs snores like a musk ox in heat, but as long as I'm wearing these, they muffle the sound pretty well. I thought I would be bothered by the sensation of something in my ear, but these have a certain comforting quality once they're inserted, and actually make me feel more relaxed. The key is to roll them up very tight before you insert them in your ears and then keep pressure on the plug with your fingertip while it slowly expands to fit your ear canal. If you skip this step, the ear plug won't go in as deep and won't work as well. Just keep in mind that although these are the best ear plugs I've tried, they just muffle sounds, they don't completely block them out, ( as I found out late one night when the hubs thought I was sleeping and broke our "no farting in bed" rule). I heard it loud and clear and realized it was because one ear plug wasn't inserted deep enough and had popped out! If you have kids, don't worry, you'll still be able to hear them in case of emergency. I highly recommend these.

Didn’t fit right.
They didn’t expand to a large enough size.

they're comfortable and don't put undue pressure on your ears
Most effective earplugs for motorcycling--and I've tried many different kinds. The only drawback is that you have to take the time to roll (compress) them and then hold your ear with the other hand to properly insert them. However, once they're in, they're comfortable and don't put undue pressure on your ears. I can ride all day (or sleep all night) with the plugs inserted without any discomfort. I think Howard Leight makes a smaller version of these and would recommend smaller plugs for women or folks with small ear canals. That said, my wife uses these and likes them. Oh, and when I'm riding my Wing, I can actually hear the radio BETTER with these plugs in my ears.

They're comfortable, and by lightly wiping them with rubbing alcohol ...
I'm a light sleeper and have been using these for years as nighttime noise blockers. They certainly work well for me. They're enough to stop sound from cars passing on the street outside my bedroom, and the shuffling around the kids do when getting ready for school in the morning. They don't block all sound, though. I can hear my alarm go off in the morning even though I have them in. They're comfortable, and by lightly wiping them with rubbing alcohol I find I can use a single pair 4 or 5 times before they lose their ability to be compressed.

Four Stars
they fall out of my ears a lot more than other plugs, but they work when they are in

Perfect Earplugs
Great earplugs have used them for years...I've always been able to purchase them locally but couldn't find them lately. So glad I found them on amazon much better price with higher quantity...don't have to keep buying small packages anymore. I use them for sleeping bc my husband snores...shocking I know..I still hear alarms like my clock, smoke & home alarm that's why I love them they really are perfect. Also we use them at the gun range great product for many uses.

Too big.
They work great at block most sounds, however after a few weeks of using, they start to hurt my ears. These are meant for people with very large ear canals.
