Broken Flowers

I love this soundtrack. It is very unique and different. Check it out & you probably will not be disappointed if you like even 1 of the tracks listed...it all flows together very well. I didn't even like the movie all that much but I adored the music and still do!

Love this compilation. The jazz is why I bought this CD. It rocks!!

Excellent for fans

I barely tolerated the movie, but I paused the DVD at the end so I could write down a name from the soundtrack credits: Mulatu Astatke. So, thank you, Mr. Jarmusch, for introducing me to this cool Ethiopian composer. I would have paid for those songs alone; the rest were a bonus.

I love the melodic, laid-back tunes of Ethiopian music. The movie was fantastic but the music was the icing on the cake. This is one of favorite CDs. I highly recommend it.

I didn't like this movie very much, but the wonderful soundtrack definitely left an impression on me. The Ethiopian music is very jazzy and cool; there's a little opera and Marvin Gaye mixed in as well; and my favorite is the Holly Golightly track (she sounds exactly like Nancy Sinatra, whose catalog I encourage you to explore as well).

Please get this. It's varied and quirky, deep and fun. Hard to get tired of.

An introduction to some new artists - great music accompanying a quirky film. Recommended highly if you want to try something different.
