My granddaughter brings her lunch to school and she likes to take left-overs or items that need to be heated up sometimes. The school only has a large heater/oven to heat all the "hot items" that kids bring for lunch and they do not allow any glassware for safety reasons. I don't like putting plastic in ovens so her lunches for a long time had to be something I could wrap in aluminum foil (which really limits your options).This stainless steel bento lunch box is perfect!The pro's: - it's a one section container. Not everything she brings to lunch needs to be heated so the bento lunch boxes with all the little separated spaces was not an option. This is just like a single Tupperware storage container but made out of stainless steel. - Its made out of stainless steel so nothing flimsy, it holds the heat better so her lunch stays warmer a little longer, no staining, easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and not glass so school compliant. - The lids are made to snap over the lip of the container so I know it's closed and with the rubber seal, nothing is leaking out. Win-win! - The sizes are good for what I was looking for. The small size holds 80% of a 15 oz of can of mini ravioli comfortably (which is about all she can eat right now anyway). You could probably put the whole can in there but she's a messy eater. The Medium size fits a small piece of chicken breast with mashed potatoes perfectly. The large size would be good for an adult meal. I've not tried it yet but I'm sure as my granddaughter gets older and her appetite grows, it will come in handy then.My purchase came with a fork and spoon but they are large and meant for an adult I guess so its been put in with my other silverware. Its good solid silverware and again, nothing flimsy but not really needed for my purpose. My only con: - there doesn't seem to be an option to buy a set (or single piece) of the same size. It would be wonderful if I could buy a couple more of just the small or medium sizes.

One month in and the lid won’t stay snapped closed on one of the containers. Otherwise they’re a good size and they’re lightweight.

We bought these for my daughter’s lunches when she starts kindergarten this year. We did have an opportunity to use them during her kindergarten summer camp and they were great! No spill - easy for a kid to open and close - easy to clean.***Updated to drop a star because one of the lids has inexplicably started not latching and the metal is starting to discolor on spots.

I usually use glassware for everything since it doesn't leave an odor and id easy to clean if someone leaves something in it to go bad. Glassware isn't the best for travel or lunchboxes because it's just too heavy. But I refused to use plastic! Enter these beauties. I LOVE them. Perfect sizes. Lightweight. Stackable. Dishwasher safe. Rugged.

Nice looking boxes, easy to open, unfortunately NOT leak proof, thanks for empty promise!. Just fill it with water and shake and it drips. I wouldn't use it to transport liquids, so I am returning those. If you need it for dry goods, it will do the job. I am going to order more JaceBox, so far the only truly leak proof brand I found, worth few extra bucks.

Thanks for a great product! I usually use for packing fruit that is whole, but have also used to pack some cooked food to eat while watching the sunset. It actually fell down on the ground, but rught side up and didn't get dented. I like the different sizes depending in what need to use for. The lids seal very well and never open.

Moisture got inside the rubber lining of the lid and got moldy right away. No way to clean it dry completely. I had to toss it. Very unhappy with the product
