I look this book series. I can't wait until the next one comes out!
Cara Black's characters are complex, her stories are unique and her plot lines are compelling. I feel lucky to have found her book series. I had tired of all the cookie cutter murder mysteries and crime dramas. Cara could teach a thing or two to other authors in regards to how to write a book with some creativity.I highly recommend this book and this book series to anyone who's interested in something different (and anyone who loves Paris- and who doesn't?)

More murder?
I am missing Paris, so I read these books....what more can I say. I look up the words I don’t know and check out the historical sites mentioned in the text. I even check the map of the city of Paris because the author likes to mention the place and connect it to French history. It’s more than a murder mystery.. it’s history, geography and fashion notes!

So much happens in a 72 hour period that I felt like a pin ball bouncing into a myriad of complications ...
Aimee Leduc is pregnant and not dealing with it well. She hasn't told the father, and her shadow Zazie disappears after enlisting Aimee's help in investigating a serial rapist of girls whom are Zazie's age. Aimee and her business partner, Renee, are in a race to find Zazie. So much happens in a 72 hour period that I felt like a pin ball bouncing into a myriad of complications that appear as Aimee and Renee race around Pigalle. I was exhausted at the end but satisfied with the outcome.

Crime in Paris Seems Much More Chic.
Another good book in the Aimee Leduc series set in Paris. Aimee is a young PI mostly in the cyber world, but usually finds herself involved in solving a crime closer to home. Always interesting characters and, of course you get to become familiar with another part of Paris. Aimee is pregnant and her character seems to be maturing, so it will be interesting to see what happens to her and around her in the upcoming books.

Intense mystery in Paris
I love Cara Black's series and enjoyed this book. The mystery component was excellent and kept me turning the pages late into the night. I do wish there had been a touch more character development between Aimee and some of the recurring characters given the pregnancy. I'm hoping there will be another Aimee Leduc book soon! It felt like there was much more to explore and the ending left me wanting more, as any compelling series should!! Cara's writing style is fantastic and I love the history of Paris she weaves in throughout.

Excellent Mystery!
This is one of the best stories in the Aimee Leduc series. The story not only takes place in the colorful but tawdry Pigalle section of Paris, but the characters are well developed, the plot is compelling and easier to follow than in some of the other books in the series, and the book reads quickly. Although most of Aimee's cadre of associates, contacts and friends from prior books also have a role here, Aimee is front and center in this story, more so than in most of the other books in the series. Cara Black has certainly come up with another very engaging and entertaining story.

Love the Aimee Leduc character
Love the Aimee Leduc character, she is honest and forthright and jumps into everything she has a passion for. Issues are contemporary and enjoy that fact. Of all the books in my library I usually cannot put a Leduc mystery down until I am done. France is a personal fascination as well, love the locales and the background stories are interesting historically, as well.

Cara Black Never Disappoints
Another great Book. Aimee LeDuc is one of the best characters in mystery books today. As soon as a book is available I read it and never disappoints.
