My review after 4years.still it is good.little sharpening is required rarely. Peeler I have not used.I have another good Peeler. Today I am buying another one for my daughter.

Yes, I did get a proper set of knives and cutters and yes, the idea seemed great to purchase them at around Rs.116 at first before I actually read the comments and found out that there have been people buying them under 100.I have been using these for the last 4 months and here are my observations:1. They are not sturdy and bend easily while cutting.2. These make it a task to cut strong and heavy vegetables and meats.3. They aren't as sharp as you'd like them to be and after some use lose their sharpness further.Whether you buy these or not, after a while, you'd again have to look for a fresher set of knives. So I recommend you buying them if they are available under 100 and if it is absolutely necessary for you. If not, opt for better priced and stronger, sharper knives.

Writing this review after using it for over a month or two. These knives have thick handles and hence easy to hold. The blades are sharp. So easy to cut even hard vegetables like carrots n beets.. One of the knife has teeth like coarse blade which works welll to grip on to onions while fine chopping..Peeler is good.. Also helps to scoop out seeds in apple.Good value for money. I got on a deal for Rs. 99.The blades are well fixed to the handles, so hope that the knives will be durable..The only negative point I feel is the knives are little small.. I am disappointed and unhappy about these stainless steel knife sets which are offered by the Pigeon brand. I couldn’t believe that items (Knife) received are of such low quality. It is said that the knife is made of stainless steel. It is true! But nevertheless, when you try to cut a piece of vegetable it actually bends and can break with little pressure.If you are searching for kitchen knives then please look elsewhere as because they won’t be able to serve any purpose to your work. The blades are thin & appear fragile and can incur potential threats to your hands (only if they break while chopping).The package I received as 4 pieces of knives with more or less the same size and quality. However the packaging was top-notch but in the end, it’s just some filthy set of cluttered knives that has no purpose in the real world. I am attaching some photos to see for yourself how they bend themselves when you try to put a little pressure to chop vegetables.Overall, not a worthy buy. Will consider something else; only purchase Pigeon knives if you get under 100 bucks.
