I bought these for my classroom which has textured wallpaper over solid block walls. It sticks well to the parts of the wallpaper that are painted, but not to the unpainted wallpaper. Also, with the texture of my wallpaper (kind of an alligator skin texture with large uneven rectangular ridges) the dots leave a lot of residue when removed. If you're using these for a flat surface, they'll work well. They're a bit less effective on textured surfaces.Another note: the dots are rather large for hanging the average 8x11.5 paper, and need to be cut in half. This is a bit of a messy task. It does give you more to work with, but is slightly inconvenient

These work the best out of all brands and products for handing things on the wall at school. I hope they never discontinue! This special product is hard to find yet is my go to in many classroom projects.

Excellent for college dorms! Each dot could hang 6 or more photos on my wall. I used them to hang lights around my desk. I used them to fix a power strip to my bed. They're versatile. Tips for use: warm them up either in your hands or with a blow drier for a few seconds. The warmer they are when you apply them, the better the hold when they've cooled down. Don't let the hair dryer melt them though! Also, if you're hanging a heavier object, be prepared to possible help keep it in place until the wax actually gets cold. Otherwise it may keep falling down. These are great though because you can scrape off any residue with your finger nails and it leave next to no trace.

These are quite expensive and leave a waxy deposit behind when you remove them. I would not purchase them again.

My classroom has concrete block walls and I have tried EVERYTHING for posting student work, posters, etc. EVERYTHING fell off. Blue tape, masking tape, duct tape, you name it, I tried it. I tried these after reading an article about this issue and so far, my posters are staying up! They seem to handle the heavier poster paper, as well. I will be buying again. I do wish they were a bit cheaper, since you only get 50 and need about 4-6 for one larger, heavier poster.

These worked great to hang pictures in my son's room. We live in a rental apartment so we can't make marks on the wall. They hold up great. I can't speak to whether they will leave a mark when we remove them though. Would have liked more dots to come in a package though.

Hard as rocks, but once softened (left on a hot oven) worked great for sticking Christmas cards on our fireplace. Really just globs of a wax-like substance. Careless packaging/shipping, but it got here. Easy to remove from brick with no apparent signs of damage or residue. Bottom line-it works!

This stuff is magic- I’m a teacher and this is the best - I can hang anything to any surface and it stays up!
