Japanese Knotweed: Unearthing the Truth

Ok for Research on the subject matter.

I was hoping it would have more of the nature of the plant (depth of tubers, distance of root runs, how it is is different soil types, how to contain it in different environments, nutritional use, etc.) The rest I pretty much knew of already. I am surprised this is described as a distillation of the author's 20 years' experience.

A great book, beautifully illustrated, from industry leader Nicolas Seal. It traces the history of Japanese Knotweed and its physiology helping the reader understand why it is such a redoubtable problem. An interesting read about a challenging issue. If you are affected by Japanese Knotweed I highly recommend this book.

A few interesting facts but nothing in depth

Brilliantly illustrated book, both for photos and drawings. Detailed history of how the plant needed up on our shores. Great purchase for any knotweed spotter.

Having suffered the traumatic power of Japanese Knotweed, I found this book most insightful and educational. I will never see Japanese Knotweed in the same light ever again. A fabulous book to refer to for life. Excellently written with tremendous photographs. Would highly recommend.
