Faulty product - avoid at all costs
I purchased this car charger / mount to use with a brand new iPhone Xs, and installed the magnetic ring between my phone and case per the instructions. The wireless charging worked only on and off - the phone would not always charge when attached to the mount, and sometimes would start to charge and then stop mid-drive. More upsetting, the magnetic mount is not strong enough to hold the iPhone Xs (I have the standards size Xs, not even the larger Xs Max). The phone fell off the mount in routine driving a handful of times - the last fall this morning resulted in a broken screen on my brand new phone!! I cannot advise against purchasing this product more strongly and I believe that it is defectively designed.

A magnetic wireless car fast charger that actually works
I had to purchase several different models to find a magnetic car charger that would actually register with my Galaxy S9+ as a fast charger. You have to make sure the USB/12V (Cigarette socket) adapter in your car is also high power/fast charging, as many built in USB or average 2.0 Amp chargers wont cut it. Where other wireless magnetic car chargers would not even keep up with the power draw of using a map application while driving, this one more than keeps up and increases the charge. Pair with a case like Pitaka, and you wont even need to use a magnetic ring on the back side of your phone. Highly recommend.

Does not keep the phone in place
As another reviewer mentioned. My phone kept falling off when driving over the slightest bump or turn. I would not recommend this product as it simply is not strong enough to hold the phone. I have an phone Xs with a Speck case.

Great magnet to hold phone
I'm using the MagicBiu car charger to hold an iphone xs. It mounts in my car vent. I've found the magnet to be plenty strong to hold the phone to the charger. The instructions say the metal ring needs to be attached on the outside of the phone case. This is true. If the metal ring is inside the phone case, the phone will not stick to the charger. The vent holder is strong enough to hold the phone on the vent. I like this product.When I wanted to use this charger for multiple phones, MagicBiu sent me another ring for the additional phone.I plan on buying another of these chargers for the other vehicle. Thanks.

Not impressed. Will return
I suppose I have been jaded by the NCORE one (that is not sold anymore). The two things I don't like about this one is that the mount slides onto the vent. Well if you screw it up, the rubber just gets crumpled. Second is that the ball joint is not very strong. My NCORE I had before was way better. I barely touch the bottom of my phone and it sags. Definitely not enough resistance and so when I drive and jiggles, it starts to sag down. Again, the NCORE was way better and sad I can't get it anymore...did I say NCORE? Oh well....Even if I took this for what it is, still would not hit the mark.

Beautiful made but the magnet won't hold your phone even without a case.
Although the presentation of the item it's really good that's why I get it. It's unfortunate that the magnet it's too weak to hold the phone even without a case. Also worth to mention that the adhesive in the metal ring it's not strong enough neither it will come off the phone and stays in the magnet and using crazy glue probably will ruin the phone. Otherwise costumer was very friendly and also send extra metals rings but the product itself needs improve. I have using iphone holders that doesn't charge just hold the phone but the magnet it's awesome there it's where they should look at before making a product.

As expected
The charger works as expected. Fast charging works but requires a good power source in the car - otherwise it charges wirelessly but not fast mode.I actually use my Galaxy S7 without the metal ring. I use my phone without any case and the changer holds the phone in place without the ring - it is not super strong without the ring but strong enough during normal driving conditions to keep it in place for hundreds of miles.I am happy with my purchase.

Great solution for hands-free charging.
I have a Pixel 3XL, in a slim case. I like this device a lot. No problems with charger-magnet holding this big phone, even over bumps. Charging position can be a little fiddly; it takes a few seconds to get 'just right', but not a big deal. One problem is that the metallic ring now causes one of my other wireless chargers to randomly drop charging. Fiddle a bit, and it connects. Again, a minor irritation for an otherwise excellent device.
