The product is okay, It plays the cassette nicely and you will be able to hear it with the provided headphone. Though i would prefer a stereo speaker in the device itself. If you want to make others listen to your cassette contents then you cannot while travelling if you do not carry any separate speaker.Now the most important part CONVERTING TO MP3.The manual has tried good but not better and far from BEST.First of all it has not mentioned where is the battery chamber which normally people will look at the back of it or under the device. But it is situated inside the device that you can access after using EJECT slider.Now from the CD, Audacity & Lame will get uploaded easily. The manual says " play your cassette and press RECORD button on the software." I have done that exactly but NO RESULT. Because the manual has omitted the most crucial part. Before recording, the pc should understand the source of the sound from which it needs to capture.When i am connecting the device to PC it shows as a REMOVABLE DISK only and nothing happens when i click on it.The manual has used Chinese language and it is difficult to understand the settings i need to do before recording takes place.So in respect of conversion it is not actually working properly. But the device is working correctly and you can listen to the contents clearly using the headphones.On the very nxt day it fails to operate. i tried with battery,usb but no luck. Hence returned the item got the refund.

The manual doesnt tell you what to set the Input output to help capture- it took me a while. Secondly i tried with 2 AA batteries and they did not fit in so was stuck using the USB port only.Manual should have FAQ or at least roubleshooting queries and what to look for.But overall after a few trials figured and got it working. But realised I cant carry it along unless attached to a usb port as it wont work with batteries

No speakers, only through earphones

Nice product ...serves the purpose dont expect Sony Walkman Quality

I can listen to all my old cassettes now
