I like that it stayed on a long time

I love this color! I first saw it when I got a pedicure at a nail salon, and I knew I needed to buy it. It’s a lovely purple color and looks great on tanned toes.

OPI is always high quality and long lasting.

Ladies or Gentlemen: I have been reading some of your reviews and I had wanted to get into doing nails (just for myself). Since retirement, I figured I have time to go and get my nails done. But after going and spending $35.00 plus tip, I said this is too much to spend a month. Well, I then tried OPI Nail Lacquer and have been hooked ever since. Lacquer is thicker and longer lasting than just plain nail polish. I was wearing gloves to wash dishes and after 3 days, nail polish had chips, bubbles and smudges. So I started looking for nail supply stores that lets the public shop also. The owner told me to use OPI Bonded Aid, then OPI Base Coat, Opi Nail Lacquer (two coats) and then use Seche Vite as top coat dryer and nail shine. My nails now last 2 weeks if I use gloves and 10 days without.Just be careful with these products that you use them in a ventilated area, they do have side effects (dizzy, hallucinations in your dreams). So I make sure a fan is blowing from behind me, so I am not breathing chemicals.So there you go! You now have no excuse to say I don't have time. You can do it on a Sunday night watching Desperate Housewives or any other series you might be hooked on. I have even tried some of the "High End Nail Lacquers" which are "London Butter" and "Tom Ford Lacquers" . Check around for who has these products at a lower price, but they are worth the money. You can even have a manicure party and charge $10.00 to get some of your money back (LOL).

I thought the color would be darker . It’s good enough

The polish covers in 1 to 2 coats. Wears very well and is easy to remove. The color goes with everything and is so cheery to wear on my fingers and toes. This is the only brand I trust to wear.

I like red nail polish but this has too much orange in it. Very harsh in my opinion. Won’t buy again. I threw it out.

this is currently my favorite color. OPI polish lasts well on me, at least a week if I wear gloves when hands in water.

Love OPI nail polishes, have been using them for years now!What I LIKE about this one:1. It’s a true red colour (Colour “So Hot it Burns”)— love this colour, especially ahead of the Holiday season! It doesn’t have yellow or blue undertones, it’s a perfect shade of red for the holiday.2. It’s Long lasting — I’ve used it with a TOP coat and it lasts about 5 days! That’s considering that I’m doing dishes and whatnot, otherwise it would’ve lasted longer, I believe.3. True to picture — ordering a red nail polish online is often hit or miss for me. I really appreciate this one was exactly as advertised.What I dislike about it — if it chips, it’s really visible and looks untidy, so have to take it off right away. But I Guess that’s the case with any bright colour.UPDATE: The colour “Got the Blues for Red” (last 3 pictures) is my latest purchase and when I try to review it, it brings me back to this initial review of the “So Hot It Burns”. Anyway, it’s a very beautiful “deep red” colour, more of a Bordeaux colour, and great for fall and winter.
