The neck section is far too long for a rat. The girth was fine (medium sizeon a large rat), but the neck section being long makes it unusable. The construction is good otherwise.

I had to modify the straps to fit my girlies so they could actually walk with their front legs. Then again my rats run a bit more petite than the average rat. I think it’s adorable but slightly frustrated it didn’t work. Guess I need to fatten them up 😂

My son wanted this so bad for his hamster! It’s hard to even get it on! And once it’s on it feels like it’s not even secure enough. It’s actually a pretty dumb product. My son was trying to walk it like it was his dog but the hamster wasn’t having it. It went in the garbage since I couldn’t return it.

Perhaps a baby rat will fit in the harness, but not even my very small male rat comes anywhere near being tiny enough. Don't even consider trying to put this harness on a full-sized male OR female rat!

My daughter talked me into getting one of these. Our hamster wiggled right out of it. So, she never got to use it. I gave it a couple of stars because it is a cute idea but useless for our hamster that squeezes through almost everything. My daughter was disappointed.

This is a good little product, super cute. But the med was just all around way too big for my long haired Syrian hamster. I couldn't measure her so I went by the reviews & answers to determine the correct size but that was a mistake. It was so big that I can't even imagine that even the small would fit properly on her body. The seller was super great tho, responded quickly & refunded as soon as ups scanned the return.

Product is as described, however, it won't stay on my rat. The rats hair and the material it's made out of are so fine and smooth it easily slips right off my lil guy. The leash is very long, which would be nice if I could actually be able to walk him

The sizing shows a guinea pig in one and a rat. So I got a small for my rat. Too small. If you have a rat get the large. There's no stretch and no way a large will fit a guinea pig unless it's way larger than the small. Only 2 sizes and not a lot of way to adjust it it's just a Velcro strip so if it's too big it falls off, too small no fit. These are small animals that can't you can't be letting loose so fit is important. I ll have to buy something with adjustable straps or stretch, etc.

Honestly really good product, perfect for my rats. The sizing is definitely meant for rats in the size small.Medium would fit a guinea pig.Really not meant for a hamster at all.
