Gorilla Gear Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle

I bought one of these for myself because I desperately needed a new stainless steel water bottle. My last one failed me miserably... although it only held water and was hand washed it rusted through and became a disgusting mess in a short amount of time. I realized not all stainless steel was made equal and that there were companies using cheap, inferior filler-laden stainless steel to cut costs. I didn't want a repeat of my former disaster so I spent a long time researching stainless steel water bottles, comparing and checking the grade of the stainless steel used. Having a trusty water bottle is important to me!I almost committed to a more well known brand at a much higher price before I found this one. I figured since it was through Prime (easy returns) I didn't have much to lose by giving it a shot. I had low expectations but i'm so happy I was proven wrong! Gorilla Gear has passed every trial where I suspected there might be failure and succeeded beyond my expectations!- Quality stainless steel used with no questionable fillers- Keeps my water cold throughout the day- NO strange smells or tastes ~ just crisp and clean tasting water- Ample 40 oz size, yet intuitive to hold and to carry with ease- Stainless steel lid (and a bonus lid included when I ordered!)- Even though i've accidentally bumped my water bottle into the wall, the paint is durable and there was NO scratch or ding made- Holds up to extreme temperatures!- Seriously reasonable price! (Although when I ordered they were offering it at a marked down price due to a barely noticeable typo on the bottle)My husband who has to work outdoors and indoors was so impressed with mine that he got one for himself as well. We have both colors now (the black and the ocean mist) and the paint holds up beautifully on both of them. His keeps his water perfectly cold when he has to be outdoors for long periods of time, which is one of the main reasons he wanted one. He also prefers the larger 40 oz size and is very happy with the construction and durability of the water bottle. We both give Gorilla Gear high marks and are very happy with our purchases.

I am seriously in love with this bottle. I live in AZ so it's essential to carry water with you. I bought this to throw in my backpack and take out and about. I was skeptical because I spent more money on another bottle that ended up flooding my backpack and didn't keep my water cold. It passed the leak test and has kept ice for almost two whole days. I have dropped it on the concrete and it barely dented. Even full it's not that heavy to carry from the handle, and I like having the option to fasten it to my kayak. The flip top is convenient to use and doesn't allow it to leak. I will be buying more for sure.

Great product so far! Stays cold for a very long time (I have not tested the absolute time limit, it kept ice around at least 19 hours, from the time I left work until i returned the next day and remembered to check). I have a Hydro Flask as well and this is at least on par with that. Having the choice of two lids is very nice!

I used this while doing bikram yoga. I was in a hot, humid room for 1.5 hours and my water stayed cold, the ice didn't melt, and the container didn't sweat. I didn't use all the water in it, and 7 hours later the ice still wasn't melted. I was going to buy a much more expensive brand, but for the price and the fact that it had a straw lid option in addition to the regular lid, I figured I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did. It's just as good as the expensive brands.

Really impressed with this bottle. I did a bunch of comparisons with the different bottles available of this style and settled on this one because of the price and extra lid. I have zero remorse as this bottle has definitely outperformed my expectations. Looks and feels very rugged yet sleek and everyone compliments me on it at the gym and office. I haven't even used the straw lid but imagine that will only elevate my opinion of this product. Five star bottle at a three star price. Get one, you won't regret it!

The mint coating of this bottle chipped away like paint when I placed the screw lid on. The plastic ring that is placed onto the neck of the bottle is what caused the color to chip away. Go with the black bottle instead. Giving it 3 stars only because "what if the chips of color fall into my drink inside?" Don't want to take that chance. It still keeps the drinks cold for more than 12 hours though.

This is great for keeping things cold. Normal fluids work with the sip top, but don't try it with smoothies unless you want to work. The straw just isn't big enough. Good value, just switch tops for smoothies.

Great container, leaks a little out of the straw when lying on it's side, but I still love it.
