I wanted to add a second swivel to my leader and this let me do it with ease. The primary connection is easily opened and connected to lures or whatever you need. After opening the primary you can open the back half of this, it takes a little extra work but I needed a second swivel in line. The flat versions of lock snaps tend to have the back smaller end crimped down essentially making this a knot tied connection.This kit provides lots of light weight tackle options.

It can open on both ends so it can easily attach to a swivel or chain. Wire is strong, so if you have weak fingers, you may need mechanical assistance (pliers) to open or close on the larger ones.

They are good for what you need them for . Making your own gear is a great way to save money.

Way more than I expected and very strong, I will buy again

I pair one of these with a stout swivel and 20-30 lb Seagar leader to prevent bite-offs when fishing the Wisconsin river. Some of the 6 to 10 lb. test superlines cast great but aren't very abrasion resistant so it helps out in that regard also. Fish don't seem to be bothered by it so I'll use this set-up until I come up with something better. So far it's doing freat!

Ordered these as I was unsure of sizes I wanted..fishing wise only the smaller one will work for me .seem like they are well built.dont expect the box to last long ..arrived quickly.time will tell how strong they are. hard waters soon here.last pics the smaller one is on a 2 inch rocker minnow to show size
