recently bought one of those apple carplay mountable screens for my little car. it's worked fine, but the microphone for the bluetooth was unusable. and that was one of the features i was most looking forward to using. luckily, i snagged one of these and used it to replace stock bluetooth mic. works like a charm now.did a lot of testing after installing it and the quality difference is like night and day. i found the best spot for it is on my steering wheel cover, just below the instrument panel / dash.not much else to say about it except that it sounds great and fixed my issue with the carplay screen. it would probably provide a significant upgrade to the stock microphone on any device like mine.very happy with my purchase!

Used this for a Pioneer AVIC-5201NEX Navigation Receiver and it worked great! The original one was damaged in an accident. I purchased this as a replacement and I am very happy with it.

Sounds clearance looks awesome, better than having a miniature shotgun mic.

Definitely does not work going HDMI Arc for sound to this device to optical or standard line out. No audio at all. Thought it might work this way but I was wrong. Don’t buy if you are trying to do this.
