Best line digging tool I have used
I bought this tool last month and have used it on 2 14 day fires. It is great for me as I am 6'4 and most hand tools are too short for me to use comfortably.I use the hoe end about 3x as often as the ax end, but it is awesome to have the ax blade right there when I need it. Because of this, this tool is much better than either a hoe or pulaski. It is absolutely the best tool I've used for both digging line and mopping up.Only downside is that it dulls fairly easily. I have to sharpen it every couple of days. But this also might be because I'm putting heavier use into it due to it's better ergonomics than shorter tools I've used in the past. Also, about the first week I was using it, the handle got slightly loose and wiggly. I soaked it overnight and it hasn't been a problem in the 3 weeks since. We were in an unusually dry environment that week so that may have been a factor.

Awesome Brush clearing
I live in the foot hills of east San Diego county where the brush is thick and brittle. The locally procured McCloud was not up to the task of clearing said brush and chaparral. This Tool has the weight and sharpness to cut/break through the indigenous brush and the many other species of "ladder fuel" that is growing on our land. I look forward to the fall weather so I can use it more when the weather is nicer...Awesome tool...

Great tool !!!
As a 54 year old, one man operation trying to clear 13 acres of Huisache in deep south Texas, every swing counts. The tool was not the cheapest but worth every cent and then some. I strongly recommend wearing steel toe boots and protective clothing, the tool is very sharp and cuts very efficiently. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend the tool.

Easy ti use
I am an elderly woman, in poor health, but needed a way to get rid of weeds that I could handle. Cannot work long, but this gets the job done without having to lean over too much.

... they have performed very well and the durability is amazing. This Axe/hoe (Pulaski) combination is no different
have purchased rouge gardening/farming tools before and they have performed very well and the durability is amazing. This Axe/hoe (Pulaski) combination is no different. It heavier weight makes better work out of the stubborn roots and hard clay-like soil that is abundant in this region."

Perfect tool for several jobs
I use this for trail building and random yard work. Great for eliminating berms, cutting trails and removing briars and roots.

Not for heavy duty use.
Not for heavy duty work with any stones in the soil. Received it today and used it for less than an hour. Already serious chips out of both ends. I was a firefighter in Colorado for 4 years and used a traditional Pulaski and had less damage at the end of the summer digging fire line than I had with this in mostly soft soil with some stones. Very brittle steel. Very disappointed.

Really happy I bought one.
Really good weight, quality and design. Way better than regular Pulaski or Super P. Cuts fireline and chops well.
