Farberware Classic Stainless Steel Saucepot Steamer Insert and Lid - 3 Quart, Silver

I've tried some other pots. I have had to return several of them and started to think I would never find pots that are new, functional and for a reasonable price. I've got two Farberware pots now, and I pretty much trust the brand, at least for stainless steel pots. They are not too heavy, but they are not cheap either. They absorb and distribute the heat very well, and the handles are easy to grab on to, but they do not get hot, like any handles would.I am just really happy with these and next time I am looking for a pot ( since I am doing so much more cooking because of the pandemic ) I will start with Farberware. I highly recommend these for regular, normal people who don't want to spend the money for some pot that is claiming to be so wonderful, and charging about twice what it is worth. Farberware is a great pot for a great price.Recommended, 5/5

So, I ordered this pot a couple years ago and it came with the lid shattered. I returned it for an exchange. Second comes not broken. I used this for 2 years and LOVE the pot! I bought another as a gift a month ago. It came with no issues. Then the other day I used mine and was in a hurry and put it on the stove with no water in it and although it is still useable I wanted another one. Ordered, showed up today shattered!So, although its an awesome pot, be aware that you have a 50/50 shot at getting one thats not shattered!They put it in a box every time that is 4 times bigger than the pot, flimsy cardboard and no packing so good luck. I have gotten 4 all totaled, 2 broken and 2 not broken. Whats your odds?

They don't make them like this anymore... it's hard to find good, solid, study cookware these days. I am very happy with Farberware Stainless Steel Saucepot Steamer. I had search on Amazon for other steamers, but their reviews were disappointing. I'm using it to in two ways: to steam veggies for our family of four... and when I take out the top steamer, I use the bottom part only to melt chocolate to dip strawberries and candies. Due to the pans heaviness, it keeps the chocolate warm on a low temperature, and doesn't scald. I'll be buying more Farberware to replace my old pots and pans, it's well made.

I needed to replace my medium-sized steamer pot with one of similar size and shape, with similar short handles. This pot fits my needs perfectly, and I like the clear lid - which my old one did not have - very much! I cook almost all vegetables in this steamer, so it's in constant use and always on the stove, where its plain good looks are another advantage.

I needed a smaller size steamer to make baby food and this one is perfect! I was surprised by the quality of it! Heavy bottomed pan with easy to clean steamer insert and lid. Highly recommended. Noy big enough to make stuff for a family, but perfect for 1-2 people or to make baby food.

No more struggle with the steamer basket. The steamer insert is just what I was looking for. Very happy with the quality of the pot. The pot is also not as heavy as the more expensive brands but heats up just as fast. I recommend this product. Looking forward to my other smaller pots in this series.

So I had a farberware just like this one from years ago, unfortunately one of the handles came off and even after that I held on to it but finally had to let it go. Come here to order same size and all but not stainless steel, only under the pot is stainless steel. I did my magnet test and it didnt stick on the inside or outside of the pot only under it. The other pot was 100% stainless steel. So I'm waiting to return this piece of trash, but hoping shipping is not on me, because they falsely advertised this. Dont buy unless you want an aluminum pot and want to give your own elf health issues because aluminum is no good
