I ordered the brass color. The color is just right, not to brash and not cheap looking. The price was great and the quality even better. They aren't too heavy. I wear these earrings with the 1928 Vintage Lace Gold-tone half circle filligree stretch bracelet and the 1928 Jewelry Gold Tone Filligree Teardrop adjustable collar necklace. They all look great together and are just a bit different from each other to not look to blended but go together great. Love all of these items.

We got these earrings (silver) for our adult daughter for her birthday, and she loves them! She immediately put them on, and commented on their beauty and that they were very comfortable. The teardrop shape, and Curling Vine pattern is very elegant and attractive. The earrings are lightweight, and the perfect size for anyone...and unbelievably, a very reasonable price. The 1928 Collection has quite a following with the very pretty older designs of the past. Kudos!

I bought these earrings the first time about 10 years ago and recently lost them - my favorite earrings! I was so happy to find them miraculously still available and quickly bought them again to replace the lost ones. They are beautiful, lightweight, and shiny. In my humble opinion, they are the perfect earrings with a gorgeous teardrop shape and beautiful filigree design.

These earrings are exquisite. They have the design and craftsmanship of fine Italian earrings. Perfect size - elegant and able to be noticed if you have long hair. Very comfortable and have had no problem with security of the hooks.I have received many compliments about the style - these earrings have the look and feel of fine jewellery. Picture is accurate. Arrived in a classic black gift box. I'm delighted with these earrings. Most highly recommended.

I purchased these earrings as a gift. They are really pretty and hang nicely on the ear. The design on the earrings make them look more expensive than they are. They are not made of a heavy material. You will forget that you are wearing them. Your ears do not turn green or become sore after wearing them. They are a nice alternative to hoops. They are for women of all ages. I gave these to my grandmother who is 96. She always wears dangle earrings and has not had a problem with them. I hope this helps you in making a decision in purchasing these earrings.

I don't believe that in all of the years that I've been shopping via Amazon, I have ever had to express complete disgust with any product purchased. Unfortunately, there is a first time for everything, I suppose.The earrings, by image and description on the Amazon site, really seemed to be exactly what I was seeking....I love anything "vintage", particularly from the period which would include the late 20's through early 40's, and I only wear "Rose Gold"....so, this set, complete with "fishhook" wires (my preference) struck me as an instant hit, and I purchased them promptly.I was aware that the earrings were not REAL Rose Gold, but I have other items which are Rose Gold plated or fused to base metal or sterling which, for all intents and purposes, were indistinguishable from genuine Rose Gold; that is, the other jewelry pieces maintained the properties of this type of gold alloy, with all the luster and shading of Rose Gold, for quite an extended time.....many years, in fact. And these other "costume" pieces were similarly priced as the earrings reviewed here.In the case of the "1928 Jewelry" would-be Rose Gold earrings ordered.....I was abashed to discover that less than 24 hours after wear, THEY TURNED GREEN (!)...AND THEN, SHORTLY AFTERWARD....BROWN!....much like the dull dinginess of dirty pennies.I'm not able to determine if I just received a "dud" pair, or a set which failed in the manufacturing process, but...nonetheless.....I am not only sadly disappointed, but really disgusted....as I feel as though I've been duped.

These are delicate and light - but not too light to make a big impression. They look like something that a Spanish Flamingo dancer would wear and they are also the 1928 jewellery company which has a fantastic reputation for jewellery. They arrived today - just a tiny bit late, but with a reasonable explanation and well worth the wait. Lovely.
