Generic Imported Sewing Machine Quilting Presser Foot Walking Foot (Multi)

Really useful, considering the fact that I am able to work with it on my fashion maker classic, which is a treadle. I had a few concerns regarding the needle hitting the foot, as it seems to be awkwardly designed in the center. But you are only advised to run the machine between a slow to moderate speed while using this attachment. It does tend to gather a lot at the back of the foot, for which I lock the materials in place by piercing the needle through, lifting up the foot to straighten out the gathering at the back. Besides that it has made sewing of layers so easy, being a newbie to the world of stitching, I am pleasantly surprised about how simple it is to use despite the look of it. Still have some concerns regarding the needle size compatibility, will be exploring this area soon enough.Buying tip as I see loads of questions on whether the foot attachment is compatible with one's machine, (mine included). Check the height of the shank of both- the specification of the shank on your machine and the attachment you intend to buy. High or low shank. Hope this helps...

I own a Brother Model Gs3700 and this walking foot works great on my machine. This walking foot works great when you are sewing through layers as well as "softer" fabrics that tend to bunch up while feeding them through your machine.
