Man, this is it!
It looks like a stupid little piece of cheap metal, and it is, but it's the perfect tool.First try on an old keyed entry Kwikset doorknob and the cylinder popped right out!!!Impressive!

Made quick work of correcting the lock orientation. Glad I paid what I did make the two minutes I spent fixing my lock worth it.

Worked! Remove a lock cylinder to reverse its orientation in the door jam. A bit overpriced.
I saw another method online using 2 screwdrivers to remove a lock cylinder. They cautioned about the possibility of breaking the lock. I bought this instead of taking a chance. It was worth it. Far better than having to install the lock upside down (which the instructions suggested was acceptable).

Works with Weiser knobs
I had an upside down key on a left handed door. Used this removal tool for Weiser Troy GA531 and the cylinder assembly instantly came out. Much easier than using other tools that may damage the lock. Surprised this item is not being sold in stores next to the hardware. The website has a user manual.

Easy to use once you find instructions on how to use it.
This tool is used to rotate the cylinder so that your key hole is not upside down. It can be done without this tool but it is a lot easier with it. It did not come with instructions so you have to look online for instructions. This works for the knob type handles. DOES NOT WORK WITH LEVER TYPE HANDLES (ex. Lido). For the lever type you need a small flat head screwdriver to pull out a pin holding the cylinder in place. The description of this product should have mentioned this.
