MerrellMen's Coldpack Ice+ Moc Waterproof Snow Boot

Most comfortable Moc / snow clogs I have ever owned
Ever had a shoe fit so perfectly it feels like a glove whenever you put it on? I hadn't either until I tried this Merrell Moc on for the first time. Wow, it felt incredibly comfortable and warm without being too hot. Looks great but yet fully waterproof and able to handle cold temps without any special socks. I have worn these for about a month now in all kinds of weather and they have become my go to shoes anytime I leave the house. Rain, sleet, ice, and snow don't slow me down when I am wearing these and I feel like my feet are smiling all day. Seriously, these were expensive but I am very thankful I decided to give them a try and they are going to be my everyday shoe all winter long. Plus as an added bonus my wife thought they looked great as well. I have always had good luck with Merrell shoes but these are hands down my favorite pair of snoc/ice mocs/clogs and I have owned many over the years from most of the other major brands. I will be searching out more Merrell shoes in the future.**Update - after several weeks of being the ONLY shoe I wore out of the house these have become even more comfortable. I can now step into them without problem and they still feel tight and secure on my feet. They have handled the cold with no problem and are still the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned (that aren't slippers). Great product, very happy I made this purchase!!

This is the 3rd pair!
We live at 6500 feet in the mountains and it gets cold, snowy, and icy here. With a steep driveway, these are the best shoes to make sure you don't slip. They grip really well. They don't replace snowboots for shoveling or plowing, but you can go up and down the drive in these in ice or snow and feel secure. The soles on these work. Then they look great for work or going out and are quite comfortable. I usually go through one pair a winter, then they work fine for normal weather and I get a new pair when winter starts. Also, due to my feet issues I do replace the normal, not terribly supportive insoles with better insoles. The top leather on these is nice too, plenty thick, not so thin that it cracks easily. I had one pair where the stitching of the rubber bumper bit came loose, but that was after about a year of good wear. I think they are worth the $. My wife wishes these soles came on some good looking winter boots for women!

Easy fir Husband to put on
He likes these since his other ones were lace up. Funny though after a day or two his left shoe seemed to be tighter than his right. He tried stretching it but didn't;t really help. Long story short he hadn't removed the toe paper in that shoe! Fit great now!

I needed to get a bigger size since the are narrow. Very good in the winter!

Warm & comfortable
I was looking for a pair of warm shoes that I could wear to work in winter that would be appropriate for casual dress. I read the reviews and ordered a half size up (11) from my usual because a number of reviews stated that the shoes felt tight and I wanted room for wool socks. The size gave me the fit I wanted and since I don’t have wide feet there is no problem with width. I did think that the length might be a little tight if I had not upsized. I have the same room in the toe that I have on my Chippewa work boots and those are 10.5. A lot of the reviews talk about grip, which is fine but not so much about warmth, which was my primary concern. I assure you that they are sufficiently warm. I have a heater under my desk to keep my feet warm, but have not needed it with these on. They are also quite comfortable and the soles don’t squeak when I walk which I find annoying in any shoe. I would definitely buy them again.

Very Good Shoe
I bought these to replace a discontinued Merrill shoe model which I liked very much. These were a little stiff at first but have broken in nicely. I do believe the traction of this model is actually better than the old model. It is very impressive on ice and snow.

Obvious Defective Manufacturing Process/Materials but Merrell Denies
This could be a perfect shoe, a perfect Merrell shoe; but a really unfortunate manufacturing choice, and then poor customer relations responses, have soured me on a brand that my husband and I have both happily worn for years. In fact, the soles of these shoes look nearly unworn and have been outstanding in icy conditions, as advertised. The leather is still great looking and durable, like every other pair of Merrell's we have owned. Early on wearing them, I noticed a slight separation in a seam near the toe of the shoe, next to the waterproofing strip. It didn't seem like much at the time, and I thought I could live with a small ding and not hassle with a return. As I have continued to wear them last winter and now this winter, the vinyl or rubber strip (which I assume is part of the waterproofing process) has cracked and crumbled and split everywhere. It is a fatal defect in an otherwise great shoe. I assumed that by now, the problem would have reached the people in charge of the shoe's manufacture, and that the problem would be corrected. Apparently not: the Merrell website has a litany of this exact complaint from buyers years ago, and from weeks ago. To make matters worse, I was emailed by customer service that the cracking and peeling couldn't possibly be a defect...because I was outside the warranty period. I had asked for a replacement if the problem with the shoe was corrected. I was offered 40% off a replacement pair, which is pointless if the shoe still uses defective materials in its manufacture. What gives Merrell? Another great brand bites the dust!

Fantastic winter slipon, but go up one size.
I ordered my normal size 10 but they were too small so I returned them.I ordered size 11 and they fit perfectly.Easy on and off withno bending down required.Good grip, waterproof, warm, and comfortable.I wore them daily during winter in the city/suburbs on paths and trails with up to 3 inches of snow or 1 inch of slush/mud/water.

They run small.
I have a few different Merrill footwear - these run maybe 3/4 of a size small compared to their boots.

Great shoe, tight fit.
Unfortunately the fit was too small although I generally take 10.5 and that is what I ordered. The front rise was too tight for my foot and although likely very comfortable for the right shaped foot, I had to return these. Wish they fit, but they didn’t
