NOT User or Laymen Friendly at all
After now owning the book myself, I have to say it is quite user/ layman unfriendly; unfortunately. I really WANTED to like the book. I have all of the author's other books, & I've had NAET treatments.... I'm definitely a fan of hers... but the layout is not at all user-friendly.It's true. You do have to flip all over the place, one after another to find what you're looking for. There's not enough of a description of how to locate the points properly.Layman's terms are not always used... but terms like this are used to find points: "mentolabial groove, mandible, condyloid, canthus.. supraorbital..."See?? WHO will know that??With all due respect to beloved Nambudripad; I know she's always meant well; but this IS a SELF-help book, and should therefore reflect that of teaching a typical person. It's like this book is page after page of separate INDEXES, more than anything. It needs to be regrouped, reorganized, compiled, user-friendly, laymen friendly. However, I did finally find that if you mark p. 14/15, that's a very helpful spot. That is where 2 helpful spots join. 13 & 14 seem to be showing ALL the points, front & back; and 15 & on, are page after page, describing the name of each point, the location (and "how to" find it (IF you know your medical terms)- & what that point is widely used for.. many, many purposes. So, it's definitely got it's good points... but NOT user-friendly at all. You'd have to really study it, and have a lot of patience, and then still... you gotta know your medical terms or such...It SHOULD have each point, 1 per page, with a CLOSE-up, a layman's description of location, and its uses all on that 1 page. I did find such a book at the library... except it repeated its points over & over, instead of just showing the point & ALL its uses on ONE page.Perhaps, I should write such a book. Has one been found yet?? ;-) Let me know if & when you find it! ;-)

Helped others as well as myself.
I first purchased this book in the fall of 2002, and proceeded to travel across the country in 2003 to accompany my sister to receive NAET treatments for both of us. Using the techniques, we have been able to help other people to understand the healing benefits of both the NAET treatments for allergies and the Living Pain Free treatments to save from many trips to a doctor or the hospital. Many have requested their own copies of this book, which I was able to acquire for them. One example is of my niece-in law who was suffering alot of pain from what a doctor said was either a torn ligament in her knee, or perhaps a blood clot. She came to me, I showed her how to use the book, and after the treatment, she walked across the room without pain. She continued to treat herself at home and is doing much better, with no sign of a blood clot. Another friend suffered from MS and Fibromyalgia and migraines, requested her own copy of the book, and is also helping her mentally challenged daughter with multiple problems. Another friend was not able to cry, used the guidlines in the book, and now is able to cry over a sad movie etc!I highly reccomend the book for those who are really sincere in self-help.

Have your very own way of Acupressure
I feel if you want to work on your own pain to give yourself your own relief, I think you might like this book to practice with. There is a lot of information to find ways to relieve your own pain by finding the spots you might have to work on. This book has alot of ideas to give you to try on yourself to give you some relief. It doesn't hurt to try these things just to find out what you can do in your own home.

Essential Self-Help Reference for Acupressure or Red Light Treatment
Simply a marvelous reference for self-help acupressure / photobiomodulation / acu-light therapy / act-photon therapy / etc. This book travels with me everywhere along with my red lights and has many post-it notes, dog ears and book marks for favorite treatments. The book provides a concise introduction of acupressure techniques and pressure points without getting the reader lost on meridians. The rest of the book is a 'recipe' book organized alphabetically by symptom with 132 charts. Well indexed with the end-user in mind. Love this book!

Holistic approach to healing illness.
This book is very user friendly and easy to read. It includes many how to drawings of acupressure points to use to treat illnesses. Each illness can be easily looked up in the index. Each diagram also explains certain food allergies that may be linked to each illness. I use this book a lot in treating many things such as hives, migraines, coughing etc

You definitely need some experience before reading this book
I am not experienced in acupressure and find this book completely perplexing. It's like a puzzle I haven't figured out yet. I don't feel that it is very user-friendly as it has you flipping here and there and everywhere for a single ailment. I also couldn't figure out whether I needed to rub all of the points, some of them, etc. The text is interesting, but there isn't enough clear text about navigating the book itself.

I use it with my AAH light. I have ...
I use it with my AAH light. I have tendinitis in my shoulder and I get relief within minutes of using the light. One thing to note, when looking up your issue, look for a broader definition. For example there isn't an entry for tendinitis but there is one for arthritis in the shoulder. I also bought it used because it also had the Protonic wellness and virus chart included.

Great Reference book for NAET
I found this book to be an excellent resource for accupressure points on the various illnesses people sufferfrom. I am seeing a NAET practitioner and if I am unsure about the points, I speak with her. I have trieda few conditions and treated myself following the accupressure points.
