Easy add on upgrade. Works great!
Put it on my TaoTao VIP 50cc scooter. Easy add on upgrade. Was able to delete the factory restrictive air box which was nice and made it a little louder and noticeable on the road which I don't mind. Plus the little speed boost too. Product description states a #75 main jet, mine came with a #78 in it. Pilot jet size is #33.My old carb had a #81 main jet and same size #33 pilot jet.Main Jet thread size: M4X0.70Pilot jet thread size: M6x0.75No place to put the PCV hose from the valve cover but I just zip tied the hose to the frame and ran it up the frame and put a filter on the end of the hose for good measure. For people saying it didn't work or ran worse, the air filter in this kit allows more air in meaning you'll likely need do some carburetor adjustments. Lots of factors go into tuning including your elevation and outside temp when tuning. There are lots of good forums and videos on how to do it on these engines and carbs. Also make sure there isn't something else wrong with your scooter. Correct valve adjustment, CDI is good, coil and spark plug are good, etc. If you don't know how to check all that, take your scooter to someone that does.Hope this review helps! Happy riding!

Overall improved fuel & air, >5mph boost, lower rev note, minimal adjustments needed. A+
First, I am not a mechanic but an ordinary DIYer who likes to tinker. I decided to replace the carb on my son's 50cc 139QMB Boom Revolution because, well, why not if it can indeed provide some added power. No big bore upgrade attempted, yet, and the expert consensus seems to not recommend it.The stock intake manifold on the bike has two vacuum ports for two hoses, one of which is the pet cock hose on the left, another on the right. It is advisable not to leave a vacuum line unattached. So I also ordered a replacement two port new air intake and installed it with the carb. Also, when replacing the stock air box with the included cone air filter, I needed to do something with the breather tube coming off the cylinder head which had attached to the air box. So I also ordered a tiny breather filter (Uni Breather filter 5/16 in.) on Amazon and zip tied it to the frame. This carburetor's fuel/air mixture screw came set at 7 half turns out which I figured is about where the manufacturer recommends it based on the added air from the cone filter, and it can be dialed from there. Once everything was hooked up and all clamps tightened and all vacuum hoses checked for leaks, I fired the bike up. It started after about five tries once fuel filled the carb. I sped off, the new note slightly lower from added air. I easily have increased about 5mph with this kit installed. There is clearly more speed uphill, and downhill, I topped 49 mph whereas previously about 40 was top. I sensed I might be running slightly rich feeling there was room for even more power, so I turned the mixture screw in a half turn and took the bike back out. There was minimal speed difference and perhaps a slightly louder hum. No idle adjustment was needed at all because I had no stall and no over-idle.I should say that this was the 2nd kit I ordered from this seller. The first was defective with a bad fuel/air screw which ultimately fell out. When the first was installed, I had first used the included air manifold with one vacuum port leaving a hose hanging, and I also hadn't hooked up that breather filter. I had a horrible time attempting to dial in the fuel/air screw, and the bike was either bogging or sputtering. Also the bike was stalling at a stop and I also couldn't dial in the idle screw. My first attempt with carb replacement, my confidence was shaken so I put back the stock carb and air box, performace reset. I then reordered the replacement carb kit, this time performance and experience as described above with virtually no adjustments needed post-install and simply boosted performance. I suppose this is the way it should be.I recommend this kit for a 139QMB 50cc carb replacement. I should note I had also upgraded to a racing ignition coil, an NGK spark plug, and racing CDI box with no rev limit, all purchased from Amazon, all of which are essential if seeking added performance using this carb kit. Just make sure all your vacuum lines and intake manifold have no leaks.

I have a Need for (low cost) Speed
I have a 2017 TaoTao Thunder 50 that I bought new in May of 2018.This is the second aftermarket carburetor I've bought from Amazon in a year. The first one I bought ran better than the factory carb ever ran right from new.I had also taken off the air box and added a cone air filter, but never got any better performance. (Just louder, which I don't mind) I also tried adding a racing ignition system, which made no difference at all. After adding this kit, I get another 5 to 10 miles an hour faster, depending on what mood the scooter is in. I've had trouble getting over 30mph since I bought the scooter, now it will do 45mph on the open road. It still takes a minute for it to get over the 30mph hump. I'm getting ready to add the Chrome custom exhaust, so the sky's the limit!

Easy install on my 2009 Piaggio Fly 50
The new carburetor kit took a little over a week to arrive, was packaged well, and had all of the components promised. It was my first attempt at removing an old OEM carb and installing a new one; quite honestly, I was skeptical it would fit/work. Needed to replace the original GY6 that had gunked up from ethanol gas (it took forever to start, ran rough/loped, acceleration from standstill to max speed was 45-60 seconds, could barely reach 34 mph).Removing the old carburetor was straightforward, and when compared to the new unit, it appeared to be a perfect match. Installation was relatively easy (decided to use the existing stock air filter), the entire job took less than an hour. The first start was surprising. After giving it three long twists of the accelerator handle and two, five-second pushes of the starter button, the engine fired up, ran smoothly, and only required a slight rpm idle adjustment (1/4 screw turn). The first road test was the real shocker. Acceleration from standstill to a top speed of 42 mph (a 24% increase) was 8 seconds without any 'loping' or hesitation. I am pleased with the product, price, and performance and would highly recommend it.
