Resident Evil 4 Official Strategy Guide (Bradygames Signature Series) Perfect Paperback – January 15, 2005

I adore Resident Evil, and with Outbreak being one of my favorite parts of the series, this book was simply a must have! This book not only arrived earlier than expected, but there's beautiful colored illustrations, detailed maps and descriptions for every item and secret you could possibly want, and the fold out poster type insert in the book itself was awesome and that alone made this totally worth it. I also love art, so its great if you want really up close and detailed visual references for characters and their bonus costumes. All in all 10000/10, THANK YOU SO MUCH!

This guide has helped me get through some of the more difficult parts of resident evil 4, like the painting. you have to rotate the paintings a certain way in order to get to the next section. And also when you move the pieces of the stone puzzle. when I got to this puzzle I tried to do it myself, but I spoke too soon. I opened the guide and followed the instructions and I was able to get through that .As I read about the infinite rocket launcher and the Chicago typewriter I started beating the game until I could get those two weapons.They were fun to use but I prefer the riot shotgun best. When I get close enough to one of those zombies , I use the riot gun to blow their heads off. the rocket launcher is a valuable asset but when you fight saddler you cannot get the pesetas that he leaves behind. you have to be cautious not to fire the rocket too close or you will kill yourself as well. The typewriter is handy because it only takes one bullet to kill each zombie. This is all thanks to the guide that I bought. you can find just about anything you need or want from amazon, but the choice is yours.

Well first, let me put it lightly. I LOVEEEE this game!! Resident Evil Outbreak is the way classic Resident Evil multiplayer should be played. Not saying that 5's mercenaries wasn't a blast or anything. Its just survival horror meant something alittle different back in the day. Back when the games really drove into that primal fear of being afraid of what we can't always see. Also the games balance of horror and problem solving is among some of the best in the gaming world, past or present. The only negative things I have to say about it is the sometime crazy long load times and the shortness of the 5 missions. With these in consideration I still choose the rate this game and guide 5 out of 5

I've relied on really good Guides by Birlew, and this one is good-but in this case it seems like he took the day off; thinking perhaps the 'wow' of the game would forgive. He is usually careful not to spoil any scares or plot points and walk you through tough battles. In this one he would say something more like " Around the next corner a zombie waits to surprise ambush you, you can escape his attack like so....then you will be attacked by a series of 3 waves of zombies totaling 14, but don't enter the tower or the house across the street or there will be 18, one with a chainsaw-fight them your own way." He could/should have offered alot more strategy without giving away so many of the games key 'jump out of your seat' moments. I'm a little diappointed. Otherwise, it's up to snuff if you want a good walkthrough. If you're just stuck on one thing and don't plan on replaying the game or finding eveything-look online.

Getting it was a problem, but after finally picking one up I have to say I like it. The interior maps are all well done; I bought it more as fluff than to use seriously, but I appreciate the level of gloss.

It arrived one week later than the estimated arrival time, maybe it was stuck at the customs.Product is okay, but I'd say acceptable instead of (very good). Damage on the outside is quite normal, the back is broken on pages 1-10. Poster is intact. I give it a 80% overall score. Thanks. :)
