My 45-lb rescue dog is an incredibly sloppy drinker -- like the doggie version of Cookie Monster. A regular-sized rubber food mat from Petco (like 13x22?) couldn't contain the spills he left around his drinking bowl. I was very happy to find this food mat -- the raised lip keeps water from leaking onto the floor quite well, it's nonslip on top and bottom, easily cleaned, flexible enough to roll up, yet rigid enough to carry spilled water to a nearby sink to dump, and it's large enough to hold both my dog's food and water bowls with an extra 4-5" of mat all around them, but not so large it gets in the way in the kitchen. As it says, it's just the right size before getting too big! Highly recommend for any other pet owners with enthusiastic eaters/drinkers in the house.

I have been searching for the perfect mat for my cat bowls. Everything that I saw was too small to hold three bowls comfortably. This is the perfect size. It is very thick , not flimsy but flexible and easy to pick up to clean. The raised edge keeps the food and water from getting all over the floor. I would like to see it in some different colors but I’m really happy with it!

I have two very messy large breed cats. I needed a place to put their wet food, but the mats sold by competitors were too small to fit 2 bowls of wet food and 1 large bowl of dry food. This mat was the right size, and unlike the standard mats, it had a lip. The lip has been wonderful for containing the mess . The little dimples help catch the dry food and keep it fro rolling. I liked that I can do a quick clean up using the broom; however, the dimples make deep cleaning the mat take more time. The mat seems to be sturdy overall; however, being silicone, you cannot carry anything on it. Better to sweep off the chunks prior to picking it up or bringing the trash bag to the mat an then taking it to the sink. Overall, fixed my issue.

We use it to feed our cats and their water bowl. Helps contain the mess that they make. Really works nice and happy with purchase.

I have a large double feeder on this mat for one of my Labs. We have 2 Labs and a Great Dane. I bought the mat mostly to catch the water when they drink from the bowl in this double feeder. When the Labs drink, the mat is big enough to catch any water. When the Dane drinks, it catches most, but not all of the water. But, realistically, we would need a HUGE mat to catch his slobber and water. So far, this has been a great mat.

This is a great mat! Since my cats eat food that drops onto the mat, it was really important to me to find a nontoxic 100% silicone pet mat free of BPA, phalates, flame retardants, and PVC. At first I was a bit hesitant to buy a pet mat that was over $25 dollars, but I am really glad that I did. I bough the gray Petfusion mat to use in the kitchen for my cats' food and I bought a smaller navy mat (Vivaglory Large Pet Food Mat Large 24''L x 16''W) for my bedroom to use for food and water. The Petfusion mat is so much thicker than the Vivaglory mat. It also has high sides and nonskid backing, which is perfect for a high traffic area like the kitchen. I bought it for a multi-cat household, but I think it would also work well for dogs too, especially since it has the nonskid backing. The Vivaglory pet food mat is nice too, but if you are looking for a larger mat with nonskid backing and high sides, I would choose the Petfusion mat.In regards to complaints about the size being slightly off, I agree this is the case. However, the Vivaglory Large Pet Food Mat Large also has a 1/2 inch - 1 inch deviation/decrease for the length and width. I figure that this is probably the case for many silicone pet mats and since it is such a slight deviation, I am not too worried about it. Overall, I think this is a great buy for both dog and cat owners!

I love my dog, but she loves to blow bubbles in her water dish. This has been a huge help keeping the water contained in her area and not across the kitchen floor! It also keeps me from falling as the water is contained. Super easy to clean, just pick up, rinse under the facet, wipe down, dry, and put back. Very durable and seems like it will last a very long time!!!

Doesn't slip on hardwood floors, ceramic bowls stay in place, easy to clean, and sidewalls are sturdy and perfect height. I had previously ordered a mat from another company and glad I exchanged it for this one.

I purchased the PetFusion Extra Large Dog Food Mat mainly because of its width. It can easily accommodate 2 large or 3 smaller animals. This one is made of a heavy rubber so it grips the floor, doesn't move around, the corners don't curl up, thin enough that your never going to trip on it, even the food dishes grip the rubber so they don't get knocked over, and it will last for years. It's super easy to clean, very flexible, you can pick it up and carry it to the sink or trash can for cleaning. It is waterproof and it has elevated edges so spilled water would never run off of it. I'm thinking of buying another one for my daughter for her animals. You can't go wrong with this pet food mat.

Mat is of great quality, thick and grippy. I like that it's thick and easy to clean. Glad I found this mat. Size is just nice for my husky. Hopefuly he keeps the spill within the mat and not bring it outside!!

Perfect size for large double bowl without protruding too much. Prevents the floor from being splashed. Doesn’t move. It would also be useful for under a foot bath or muddy boots. Well worth the money in my opinion. The packaging is recyclable and very useful for packing picturess for storage for example.

This is a great mat for under the dog water dish. I've been looking for something larger than what most pet stores sell to help contain the water splashes from my two dogs. This mat was the answer! A good size and very good material. It does not slide around and has a small lip all around to contain the spills.
