The 1 for USleepwear for Women - Button Down Nightgowns for Women, Amelia 100% Cotton Robe

I am so upset, I could spit nails!! First I didn't particularly like this gown because of the collar. It rides up on your neck and balls up against the pillow. Very annoying! But it is very pretty and looks good, so I kept it as a backup. When I picked up my nightgowns from the cleaners, I had an ugly surprise: This one was torn to shreds in the front!! The owner of the laundry, whom I have done business with for years, explained and showed me the problem. The ripped panel was of a completely different quality and thread count than the rest of the gown!! It might have been a mistake, or a deliberate attempt by the manufacturer to save some money, by introducing flimsy fabric here and there into a garment. Since my time for a return had expired, Amazon would do nothing about this matter at first, but since I would not let the matter rest, they finally, begrudgingly, offered me a $ 5.00 credit to my account and the phone number of the manufacturer.I own every one of the Victorian gowns in this line and regularly take them to the laundry, since it would take me hours to wash, starch and iron them to perfection, and I haven't had any problems with those yet. Had I known in advance that I was being defrauded in a rather sneaky way, I would never have bought another nightgown from this designer. I certainly will NOT in the future. I also feel that Amazon shouldn't have brushed me off, but investigated the issue further. As the distributor of these nightgowns, their good name is on the line, too.

I bought another one of the 1 for U. Absolutely love the styling and the quality BUT it is tight under the arms. On this one I bought a size larger thinking that may be the issue. It fit under the arms this time but it was enormous everywhere else. I'm big busted (D) but while the bust fits the arm holes are high and tight. It's really annoying because otherwise this would be the most perfect nightgown ever. Since this is the 2nd one that appears to have high armholes I sadly won't be buying anymore. Nightgowns should be somewhat relaxed, perhaps these are intended for big busted small shouldered people? I think it's a mis-design that they perhaps are unaware of?

Maybe I’m too picky, but I didn’t like the way the piping lined up in front. I thought the sleeves should be longer & at 5”6 I can NEVER find a gown that goes past my ankles. ALWAYS a tad too short & this gown is the same. As for the buttons, they ARE NOT covered. They’re little flower plastic buttons. It’s going back.

This is a good summer robe. Light weight cotton, very well made. Some have commented about the length of the sleeves but I don't find them to be a problem. The robe shrunk about 2" after a trip through the washer and dryer (they recommend hanging to dry). Shrinkage was good for me since I'm 5'2", now the robe hits my ankles instead of the floor. The sleeves also shrunk in length which pleased me, made It easier to push them above my elbows. I ordered a medium and it fits like a true medium. The bodice is fitted above the bust line, not a lot of room to spare, meaning it is more 'tailored' to fit not loose fitting. Below the chest seam is ample room but across the shoulders is a true fit. So if you sometimes wear a size lg shirt, go with a lg in this robe. Some have posted that the buttons are fabric covered, mine are not and I can find no fault with the buttons. There's just nothing negative to say about this robe.

Pretty, but not very comfortable. I ordered an XL because I typically wear sizes 16-18. I’m 5’6” 205lbs. It’s snug in the shoulders, but the length is perfect. I should’ve ordered an XXL size 20.

First off let me say I was so disappointed to have to return this nightgown robe. I had purchased a medium which is my usual size( for reference I am 5'5" tall, weigh 130 lbs, 34C chest size, and have an athletic build.). This robe fit somewhat loosely through the shoulders which I liked as it would allow some room for shrinkage. However the sleeves were shorter on me than on the model in the picture. They ended about 2 inches above my wrists which looked strange(maybe the sleeves were cut wrong on the particular gown I received-I'm giving the company the benefit of the doubt). A much bigger problem was with the covered buttons. They were all poorly sewn on and a few were just barely hanging on. I would have had to resew all the buttons on the gown(This would have been no small task-there are a lot of buttons all the way down the front.). The fabric covering the buttons was dingy looking on several of the buttons. This might have been fixed by washing but I was unwilling to bet on it; I'm afraid the glue used to attach the fabric to the buttons was at fault. Also for anyone who is interested, there was a small tag sewn in at the seam at the bottom of gown stating it was made in China. Returned item. I was really disappointed because outside of its flaws it really is gorgeous. However, I am unwilling to reorder. I will try another item from this company avoiding anything with buttons.

I purchased 7 nightgowns from this company. When they arrived, I was so pleased with them I purchased 7 more and this robe. The 100% cotton is so soft, light, cool and comfortable. Seven I sleep in and I wear 7 during my leisure hours at home. The robe is the same quality as the gowns; exquisite detailing, beautiful quality workmanship and at such a reasonable price. My husband complimented me the first time I wore it and I was thrilled because I adore the Victorian styling. You won't be disappointed in this lovely robe, it is something special.

I receive this pijama and I’m 100 % is used before, smell to perfume and also have hair on it. The package was not the same as the other 3 in diferente color I bought.

The country of origin remains uncertain as I received different countries as its place of origin.Customers do have the right to know where a product comes from.The design is feminin.The material is thin but I paid the same money and received even thinner nighties of this type.The buttons are cheap and so is the lace (not cotton).It is too expensive for what we get but it is hard to find good quality thick cotton that comes from Egypt or Turkey. Even when they do, the quality is watered down.I am surprised with the 5 star comments.Not top of the range by no means but acceptable.A good quality thick cotton keeps you cool, is good on the skin and most importantly lasts for years.And this isn't the one.I will keep this nightie. It isn't ideal. but can't be taking the trouble to send it back.In a way I expected what I got.Just about alright. It might last a year or two.

Wow,arrived within days, well packaged, bought as a birthday present for my wife, she loves the style and pattern and colour's, very well made, fits perfectly, she is very happy so thank you, if you want a high end night wear at a great price then try these, you won't be disappointed well done, with kind regards Sam

A little on the pricey side for what i usually pay for nightwear but oh so worth it. The detailing and stitching are first class and you the garmet is a sheer delight to wear. The packaging is wonderful. Worth every penny. You could have walked off the set of pride and prejudice dressed in this :)

Item seems to be well made but is quite tight around the armholes and smaller across the yoke than expected. I would buy a larger size than normal next time

Absolutely beautiful dressing gown but far too small across the bust.I ordered a slightly larger size than my usual but had to return it. I then ordered the largest size and it's still too small. I really don't know where they got their sizing from. Such a shame as it's just what I wanted.
