Another wonderful book from Debbie, it is lovely to read about what happened to her after she fled Afghanistan, her portrayal of PTSD is really good and I am sure there are many people now who will identify with thisI love how she brings her sons into her story and eventually her grandchildrenIt is lovely to read about how she analises her past and what she comes up with, very entertainingBeautiful book, Debbie is an amazing writerDebbie's fans will love this addition to her other wonderful books

This is more than an interesting read about Deb's varied life. It shows a woman going through complex post traumatic stress disorder and starting her journey to heal from it. If you suffer from C-PTSD it is well worth the read for the feeling of connectivity you end up feeling with the author - real proof that you are not alone. It is not a self help book though by any means and instead is an incredibly uplifting autobiographical journey that spans continents and years and is worth the read for that too. Enjoy.

I have followed the author through all of her books. She has certainly lived an amazing life. This latest book tells of her highs and lows in Mexico. I thoroughly enjoyed it a and would recommend anyone to read it.

After reading her previous books and this one, I have the sense that I know Debbie Rodriguez. She has written another interesting, funny and totally absorbing book. I wonder what she'll do next and where she'll go. I hope she writes about it!
