Common Milkweed Seed Balls for Fall Planting (Asclepias syriaca) (50)

Plant in fall
I love these seed balls to help our winged friends. These will only sprout well if wintered, so seeds must be sown in fall. Also, it is important for consumers to verify that the seeds grow in their area. They also provide a variety of seed options and location-specific searches.

Easy to plant and hopefully will solve my problem of ...
So far about half of the seed balls have sprouted and I hope I will do them justice by trying to nurture them into larger plants. Right now they are only about 1 inch tall or less. Easy to plant and hopefully will solve my problem of not being able to find plants locally some times during the year. Would order again.

Great seeds
These seed balls work better than the package of 1000. Just plant them in late fall and watch most come up in the spring.

The packet of seeds in the ball arrived in good shape and were planted
The packet of seeds in the ball arrived in good shape and were planted. Now, I wait to see if any or all grew when the next spring comes round.

Love!
Love, love, love. They are already sprouting. We should have a ton of milkweed next year for our caterpillar friends!!

A gift you say?
Yes, I got them as a gift for someone who couldn't find them locally. He was very pleased and they are growing as we speak.
