Simulator use if you hit fat at all it kills your shot. No forgiveness at all. You have to hit the ball perfect and not fat. When I tee off the mat my yards are exact. Iron shots not even close. But very nice mat for chipping and net shots..

Needed a mat I could use indoors. So far this May has been awesome.

Versatile and sufficiently robust

The media could not be loaded.  I'm a pro golfer and instructor and I'm very particular about what I use and recommend for my clients. This mat is perfect for supplementary practice (hitting into a net at home) or taking to the range. It's light and durable but what I like most is it's realistic simulation of grass, especially the rough. I've tried other mats with fake rough and they never satisfy. This stuff not only looks the part but performs it. The rough turf on this mat "grabbed" the clubhead exactly like the real stuff! If you're looking for something to use at home and take to the range without having to sacrifice the size of the mat then this is your mat.
