Nymphaea ‘Clyde Ikins’ is a very large hardy waterlily with a wonderful yellow apricot appeal. ‘Clyde Ikins’ has been known to be one of Kirk Strawn’s greatest waterlily creations. The petals are creamy yellow with a hint of pink, shading to light yellow apricot at the inner petals. The flower measures 4-6 inches and towers over 6-8 inch medium green, slightly ovate leaves. The plant spreads 6-8 feet, which makes it excellent for medium to large ponds.

Outstanding!
I received my order promptly and I was surprised that it was so carefully packaged. Upon unwrapping the plant I couldn't believe how nice it was! I've ordered aquatics from other on-line sources before, big name ones, and its always the same ol' same ol'....tiny, whimpy plants, hasty packing, damage, and even totally dead stuff. So I didn't have high expectations. But WOW! Not this plant! It had a nice sized rhizome, five lovely large healthy pads, sturdy stems, and even a flower bud coming up. It had been carefully cleaned and was snail free. For the first time I feel like I totally got my money's worth!

Exceeded my expectation!
The root cane with many stems with leaves and has one flower bud! Very fresh and nicely packaged. It arrived in priority mail even though it says standard delivery on the order. I am very pleased with this order so far. Hopefully the flower is the same as pictured. I will update once it bloomed.

Huge plant, ready to bloom! So pretty!
Absolutely outstanding for a "bare root", it was huge and had two flowers about to bloom! Very happy!

Lovely
The flowers were lovely it bloomed a few times. I wish I could say more but a coon ate the bulb:( It was healthy and looked perfect on arrival.
