Kernels Popcorn Seasoning White Cheddar 110g Imported from Canada

I have been using this seasoning for many, many years. It's imported from Canada so I usually have friends bring down some more when my supply runs low.DO NOT confuse this with the "Kernel Season's" products that look remarkably similar. Their White Cheddar offering IMHO taste more like powdered salt than white cheddar.For the most awesome results, make sure you sprinkle some of this on your popcorn, mix and sprinkle again to get good coverage.At the risk of fanning the flames of the ongoing popcorn holy wars, if you're eating your popcorn for pleasure make sure you cook it in oil not with a hot air popper.Similarly, skip the microwave stuff.While this seasoning will try valiantly to elevate those travesties from their abysmal depths, frankly nothing can save them so don't waste this marvelous seasoning on those.Cook your popcorn in oil, use melted BUTTER and Kernels White Cheddar Popcorn seasoning, then add some salt to round out to your taste. You will not regret it.

What I wrote below is true, but overnight the price has increased from CDN$2.97 to CDN$4.79 so I will not purchase it anymore. This kinda thing is happening more and more on Amazon. Sell a great product at a great price, rack up a ton of 5 star reviews, then jack the price to the moon. I'm getting tired of it. So from 5 stars to 1 star it goes.-------------------Fantastic on popcorn.Great flavor that's not too strong or too weak, or artificial tasting.I use it on some pasta and other dishes as well.Great product.

I bought this popcorn seasoning for my lightly buttered popcorn as I wanted a more flavourful snack.I wasn't sure what flavour to choose so I decided to go with familiarity which was this: White Cheddar flavour.Knowing it wasn't going to be like the Smartfood Popcorn flavour I still enjoy the anything close to the cheddar taste family.Would I recommend this flavour? HELL YES especially if you're on a diet and you're going for diet-friendly snacks!My Favourite Features:- This cheese flavour is light and not overbearing, its like a light parmesan taste!- It is a heavier powder so do be mindful to pour it lightly over your popcorn (heavier than the All Dressed seasoning)Tips & Tricks:- I pour my popcorn in a container season it with this white cheddar seasoning, put a lid on and SHAKE! This ensures all the kernels are seasoned. It helps get all seasoning that may have fallen to the bottom of the container all over the kernels!!- Because I work from home and I love snacking during my work hours, to avoid dirty sticky fingers I eat my popcorn with a spoon!10/10 would recommend (it also surprisingly goes well with the other flavour All Dressed)

For those thinking that this will turn your popcorn into Smartfood (like I thought it would do), look away. However, if you don't expect Smartfood, this adds great flavour to unsalted stove top made popcorn.

It does not taste like white cheddar. It tastes like a sweet chemical taste. I bought 2 and threw them both out. I actually couldn't believe that this product was as bad as it was as I thought that Kernels seasonings were supposed to be good!

I choke when I put this on my popcorn.I mean it tastes good when you don't breathe it.
