Fiskars Bypass Pruner S Softgrip Secateurs

I bought these as they were reviewed well and appeared to have an easy grip. I have not been disappointed they are compact and easy to use. My only concern was there was no information regarding unlocking them & I had to rely on the online reviews to find out. They open by pressing the orange button in the centre the side without the padlock and press padlock to lock. Easy when you know how!

Every time I cut it locks unless you hold the unlock button at the same time. My hands are too small to do this and of course I shouldn’t have to. A waste of money.

Cuts well and is generally up there with fiskars quality. The spring mechanism on this isn't very good though. So I would recommend the original ones over these.

These new pruners aren’t great at all.In fact, they’re cheap in every sense except the price.The push button lock often gets clogged with dirt and I have broken the handle on 2 out of 3 pairs purchased.Either I’m super strong or these are just cheap imported rubbish!

they seem a bit temperamental to me (randomly locking and unlocking, and having to unlock after every cut) and I miss the old fashioned lock and secateurs. Probably operator error, but they are sharp
