It is locking balls from coming in between the thighs though u seat cross legs on sofa chair. Best design light weight cool most comfortable most ventilated with easy size adjustment. For a large size man it is recommended to buy medium size suspensory as couch is much bigger. I order L size but it fitted well with more space available for ventilation. Great product ended my search for perfect scrotal support, also balls never slip out of couch perfect fitting.
