AC7242 12" Razor Saw Blade

This is my 2nd time buying this blade. I replaced my original Fiskars pole saw blade with this one. Wow, what a difference! The blade is not only sharp, but also sturdy, allowing for effective push and pull cutting. I've been able to cut branches up to 8-10" in diameter in just a couple minutes, even having the pole extended and with less leverage.This blade fits older Fiskars pole saws, but not the current one sold in Home Depot's and such. Fiskars changed how the blades are attached. I tried the newer Fiskars pole saw/blade and was very disappointed - dull blade and VERY flimsy. There may be a different Corona model that is compatible. If there isn't a compatible model, I suggest buying this blade and drilling new mounting holes. It's worth the extra trouble!

Great saw for the pole trimmer. The saw that came with the trimmer was probably better suited for smaller limbs. This worked great on the 6 inch limbs I was trimming. It is easy to attach and use.

Corona does not stamp a model number on the pruner. Makes it hard to buy parts for.Returned it and go one tha t fit.

I own two other Corona saws, and bought the pole saw replacement blade knowing that it would cut well. It fit my older style pole perfectly, and I finished 400 yards of trimming overhanging driveway limbs up to 2" diameter. Afterwards I cleaned the teeth with a brush and lightly wiped the blade with linseed oil. A blade like this will remain finger knicking sharp for years given this care. You can buy a cheaper blade, but you cannot buy a better blade for older poles. Be sure that the mount hole pattern is an exact match with your old blade. The Amazon item photo is fuzzy, but still usable to make the exact match. Perhaps Amazon can upgrade that to help customers reduce purchase errors indicated in other reviews.

It didn't fit the Corona pole saw that I was trying to replace the blade on. I liked the blade and tooth configuration so I drilled holes to fit my poles hole pattern. Very difficult to drill through. The blade is well made and is much higher quality than the original blade that came with the pole. I just wish the hole pattern was universal for all the Corona products.

Had to modify my pole saw head to install it but it was well worth the effort. Cuts much faster and easier than the original Fiskars blade when it was new. Wish I had replaced it years ago.

This blade fit into my Fiskar pole, unlike the Home Depot blade. It was extremely sharp and made cutting high branch easy with only a few stokes.
