Andy Warhol (MoMA Artist Series) Paperback – June 1, 2008

I am an artist, my last year of highschool my art teacher told me to research about Andy Warhol in the hopes it may spark creativity ideas into my work. My first year of attending art college (2 and + half years ago) the first book I found in the library was this and since then I didn't want to give it back. This book became an ultra source of inspiration for me and and I didn't really know who Andy Warhol really was and about his work until I read this. I'm extremely big on pop culture and didn't know how much I would related to Andy's work. I searched many book stores/dealers for the longest to find it but couldn't or the price was to high for my budget. The condition of the book for the price I bought to for from this dealer (HookedonBooksPA) was beyond my expectation! It seems to be read once and way better condition than when I read it from the library! I want to thank you HookedonBooksPA very much!!! I appreciated the little thank you note on the receipt plus the adding of "Swiss" to my last name on the package as well ;D haha.

Purchased the book after learning my mother was the subjects of one of his paintings in this series. As expected, death and disaster is a depressing subject. I was very interested in the story behind this and other series of his.

This is THE best Warhol book I own. If you love Warhol and you love photography, you will love this book. Nicely researched and quality printing too.

A rather rudimentary book on Warhol. If you are wanting a decent Warhol book for your library I'd say pass on this one. Images are poor, text is brief, in short, not much there.

Wonderful reproductions, lots of information about the works, very complete. wonderful reference on the art of the 60s. Must have.

La calidad del libro es muy buena solo que si esperaba a que estuviera un poco más grande y con más contenido pero de ahí en fuera es una excelente opción de regalo.

Nice book but smaller than I had expected. If you want a pocket sized reference it has a lot in it but there are better larger books on the market which are more comprehensive in their content.
