Directions are very unclear and lack detailed safety information such as warning people with pacemaker makers not to use. Also, the heart is in general sensitive to electrical stimulation as it has its own electrical bio-rhythm, so electrical stimulation should not be used near it. If a person were to put this on their arm for instance, then they would not want to rest their arm on their chest. Also, main arteries and nerves run through your neck, so many doctors will not use electrical stimulation on the neck or are very careful about it when they do, because it can cause malfunctions in the nervous system, possibly triggering Laryngospasm or Vasovagal reflex. I've posed questions above in regards to these issues, so hopefully the seller will address them. The directions should explain maximum use, it states 15 to 30 minutes, it seems like 30 minutes may be a bit much. All other massagers I have bought cut off in 15 minutes. Is the devise FDA approved? This comes from an Asian country, so regulations may be different, also was the unit developed by a professional? Are the electrical impulses in a safe area as to not cause any nervous system problems? I did a little research after trying it for the first time, after I remembered my chiropractor saying he could not use ultrasound on my neck when I asked him to. He had been using it on my shoulder which had helped a lot, he said it was to dangerous to use on the neck, because of the main arteries running through it. I did notice when using this devise that the stronger impulses were on the right side and maybe that is why, since the major artery is on the left side. The translated directions are very unclear and the labels on the unit are in Asian and should be in English for units sold here. If seller shows that it is safe to use and provides supportive information I will update this review.
