Good results in North Carolina Piedmont
We are very happy with the yield from this seed. Spread in the fall, watered a few times, and now in early-spring, we are very pleased with the results. I've already had to mow four times! Glad I bought a new mower. 😁

Easy to Plant
My wife insisted that I plant more grass seed but I hate to mow so I dug a hole in the yard and buried the entire bag. Hasn’t germinated yet but should soon have a luxurious 2 1/2 square foot of grass.

3 weeks of straight rain
Seeded lawn, and 3 weeks later lawn was perfect. Didn’t even prep before seeding. Was lucky it rained everyday for 3 weeks! This is a quick fix, I mixed it with other seed and fertilizer.

Old, expired seed, relabeled with a new test/expiration date. Very low 10-15% germination rate.
Scotts is relabeling expired seed and selling it as new. I cannot get this seed to germinate, despite watering 4 times a day to keep moist, and 70-75 degrees Virginia daytime temps. This seed is easily 2 years old. Originally certified to 85% germination rate. This is good seed if purchases fresh. I have used it for several years. I have been reseeding my lawn for over 30 years. It is not a mistake by me. IT IS OLD EXPIRED SEED BEING SOLD ON AMAZON BY SCOTTS. No way to get a refund or exchange after it is spread in your yard. Do yourself a favor and check the certification label closely. If there is a second label on top of the original certification label immediately return this junk product. I do not understand why Scotts would tarnish their reputation by selling expired product. Why does Amazon allow this to be sold? This is nothing short of criminal behavior and a total scam against Amazon customers.

Great looking lawn
I killed off my lawn installed sprinklers and planted these seeds and in 6 weeks this is what my lawn looks like. I love it and will now buy more to do the backyard.

Cheaper to buy from Timbuktu
I was able to get these, all the way from Timbuktu, for cheaper than my local home store. I am sad to say I did not have a yuge success rate.
