The Second Star is Only Because I Believe the Effort
I bought these because I was looking for some good snacks that I could order for after my pregnancy. I plan to re-adopt a low carb lifestyle because I’m very high risk to develop diabetes, and right now have gestational diabetes. Diabetes runs in my family, and I want to avoid it if possible.Before I proceed with my review, I want to say that I am by no means a picky eater. I love most veggies, fruits, and meats, even eat plain Greek yogurt every morning, and have tried various low-carb products that others might not find good, but I do and will eat.As for the bars: I have now tried the almond and strawberry flavors, and so far I can’t say I would buy these again. While the flavor is good at the beginning, it’s the weird bitterness in the middle and the aftertaste that really gets me. To me, they taste like moist, chewy, sunflower seed-flavored bars with hints of almond or strawberry. I’m guessing it’s the sunflower lecithin that does this? Not sure, but I do not find these appetizing at all, and was honestly not looking forward to trying another flavor after the first one. I also don’t understand all the 5 star reviews here, and feel incredibly misled because I bought these based off the reviews. I hope whoever tries these next at least sees this review and will weigh whether to buy these because they’re not cheap. Don’t get me wrong, I’m really not trying to hate and I love the concept of these bars and the ingredients really are legit. AND to be fair I will try these again after I have my baby next week and see if my taste changes, at which point, if it’s better, I will change my review. At this time, however, I cannot justify giving these bars more than 2 stars, and the second star is only because I believe in the effort of this company.

Tasty, satisfying energy bars
These bars are great. I bought the Variety Pack, and glad I did. The Cocoa bar was excellent -- good mouth feel, tasty and satisfying. The almond bar was equally delicious. The strawberry flavor surprised me. It was the last bar I tried as Cocoa and Almond are favorite flavors of mine, but the strawberry really had great flavor. I will reorder the variety pack again, as all of them are great tasting, satisfying bars. Try them!

Yummy, and NO noticeable blood sugar effect!
I'm so glad I recently discovered these bars. They taste great (Strawberry is my favorite). I'm an insulin user and wear a continuous glucose monitor, and when eating these bars I see NO blood sugar elevation and require NO bolus insulin. These are definitely my new go-to snack bar.

These bars and great. Aa a diabetic with hangry problems I am constantly looking for bars that taste good, don’t give me gas and still have low carbs.I like the strawberry best.Also do like the fact that they are made with natural ingredients. I hope the price will come down.

No funny after taste
Delicious! About to order another variety pack. I’ve been searching for a low net carb bar for hiking, after/before the gym, and to keep in the car for when I realize: you forgot to eat a lunch. Again. They fit all of my criteria and taste really good!!

Delicious and do NOT spike blood sugar!!!!
I had the privilege of meeting the owners of ZenoBar at a trade show and was eager to have my daughter try these bars. She has Type 1 diabetes and celiac disease so we are constantly on the lookout for snacks that are gluten free and don't raise blood sugar. ZenoBar's deliver! They are delicious, filling and full of healthy ingredients and they have ZERO impact on my daughter's blood sugar. My entire family of 5 loves these (and we do not have diabetes or celiac) and they are a staple in our pantry now. I carry a couple in my purse for on the go snacks and my kids take them to school. I DEFINITELY recommend!!!

Great taste, great texture, great ingredients
Everything about these bars is great - flavor, texture, and, of course, ingredients. I’ve been on keto for a while and like to make desserts myself, but sometimes you just want to relax, have no time, or need something on the go but, unfortunately, there is not a lot of options without some questionable ingredients. I’m glad I found ZenoBars.P.S. All three flavors are delicious, but strawberry IS THE BOMB!!!

YUMMY! TOP NOTCH!
These are so good! Seriously the BEST bars I've ever eaten since being on Keto for 10 months now. Even if I wasn't on Keto I think I would buy these again. I got the variety pack and so far have eaten the almond hemp and the cocoa hemp. The almond hemp tastes like it has crushed almonds in them. The cocoa hemp has a slight cocoa flavor that isn't too subtle, but not overpowering as well. Its a very good balance of flavor. These are also super moist bars. This is actually sweet enough for me and love that there is no aftertaste. I have often found with a lot of bars that its just too sweet and the texture is just all off. I really LOVE the texture on this bar. The combo of hemp, chia, and flax ... well its just so yummy. Yeah you can make your own, but honestly who has the time to make them all the time? Its nice to buy something and eat it and then it taste like something you did make. Someone wrote a review that it was horrible. I guess if you're use to sugar or even have a weird texture issue then I don't think these bars are for you. I've had a few products with allulose and I have to say that is by far my most second favorite sweetener. No after taste at all. It comes close to my other favorite which is Swerve. Back to these bars though, you can't beat the low net carbs. The cocoa and almond only have 2 net carbs and the strawberry 4 net carbs. I think thats phenomenal. I also like after I eat one I'm pretty full especially on days I go to the gym. So far Ive yet to come across one bar that can keep me full after a hard workout at the gym. I would definitely buy it again. Don't know if I would buy a particular flavor again or buy the variety pack. Either way go buy them! I also did not write this review because I got a discount, but wow would I love a discount!
