Velcro is just not the same as the old time metal, mesh with brushes rollers. But they’re ok

I love these. My family that have thick long hair they do not stay without Bobby pins but still useful. Easy and quick to put in. My hair dries fast so I can put these in daily while getting ready to go out and within 2 hours I'm ready to go. Not for all hair types I imagin. I love the fact I can curl my hair without heat because my hair damages easily from heat (irons and blow dryers). If having trouble getting them to stay, put less hair in each curler or use Bobby pins or clips. They have a type of velcro (hooks) that hold hair but they are only so long. After I roll the hair I slightly push into my scalp and wiggle the curler until I feel the rough hooks on my scalp. That helps them stay in the best.these are firm plastic so not able to sleep in them

They were decent, they made my hair a bit frizzy but nothing crazy, however there was not enough in one psckage for my whole head, was short about 2
