Good quality replacement spring
When my garage door torsion spring broke, I needed a replacement and could not buy one locally. Easy enough to install with hand tools and winding rods made by cutting a 36” long, 1/2” cold-rolled steel bar from the hardware store. Make sure to keep your plastic bushing/shaft insert from the old spring since the new spring doesn’t include one.

Saved a ton by doing it myself
So far so good, it opens the door like it should. Ill let you know in about ten years if it is still going. That's the average lifespan for one of these

Saved myself 150 bucks!
My garage door broke and After watching a few videos I order this from Prime-lime and replace myself with some steel rods from Lowes. very easy repair. although I did have to adjust the torqueness of the spring to be almost weightless but after that easy peasy.

Worked great and simple to install
Worked great and simple to install. Be very careful with the install and follow all the safety precautions. Use the proper tools. These springs store a lot of energy and you can really get hurt if you are careless. Online videos help you to learn how to do this correctly.

Replaced Broken Torsion Spring! It Works!
Garage door works again after installing this new torsion spring. In my particular case, I was replacing a broken 30in spring. This one is 32in but the other specs were very close to my old spring. I wound it to 29 (quarter-)turns, lubed all the hinges and the drive chain, and everything is working nicely. Door is balanced, but I may yet tweak the spring tension a half turn more to see if lightening the door a bit more is a further improvement.I used the Hillman winding rods and reviewed the included instructions, supplemented with some online videos. The video posted by Kyle Hogge is a good example run-through -- well detailed, but without fussing with unnecessary steps (e.g. marking the original pulley alignment). The tension on the rods is substantial from about 50% wound onward, so remember to hold the rods near the end for maximum leverage, and less strain on the muscles. Also, you can basically rest after every turn, if you have to, by letting the bar rest against the top of the garage door or wall. With care, you can use both arms to push each turn.

works perfectly
What really impressed me is that I could get such an unusual item so easily on Amazon when the local specialty shops that sell these springs were all closed or limiting access for Covid-19. The spring itself is a direct match for my broken one and is otherwise unremarkable. Installation is not trivial, read the instructions, watch some YouTube videos, and work with a helper.

Disapointed
Ordered pair for my garage. First, two different packages...it was a bit suspicious...Placed them onto rod. Winded them as indicated 29 1/2 turn. Both of them. Tried to open the door. Door was opening unevenly.Tried again, and again...same problem. I thought it was me. Called professional garage installer where he clearly pointed out that two springs were different gauge. He was unable to wind both spring evenly, so I have door operating on one spring only. Left on was great, works great, right one was horrible.Silver lining in this is I have "spare" spring on the rod, if one will ever give up, other one will simply need to be winded. If possible, everyone, inspect them ( if buying in pair) before installing them, check that they are same gauge. Or if store are selling them, buy them from the store.Truly disappointed

Purolator delivery sucks !
Great product and easy installation. One spring did break on Friday. I have selected two springs for next day delivery. One has come next day from Amazon delivery - no problem.Second spring with rods arrived on Monday. Our cars were locked in the garage for 3 days and we had to take a day off on Monday. Apparently Purolator attempts delivery on Saturday and again on Sunday - both times fail.Dear Amazon; Please do not use Purolator for delivery.

Perfect Fit
When faced with a broken torsion spring, I watched a number of YouTube videos which gave me the confidence to change it myself. I followed the info from Prime-Line which made selecting the right spring very easy. As a DIY project, this can be very dangerous, but make sure you take precautions and go slow. Definitely a good product at a good price.
