I put this in a lot things, such as ramen and rice, and gravy for meat or chicken.

I like it but I don't love it...
Having been a big fan of Lee Kum Kee Garlic Chili Sauce, I thought I would give this a try. It made a decent sauce for a noodle dish I made ,but I cannot say I was wowed by it. It is worth giving a try if you like spicy food. Perhaps you will have more success.

Fabulous
I thought this may be a little hot for me so I mixed a few teaspoons with a little mirin and sesame oil. Very, very good. However, I tried to order 5 more and the shipping was more than the product so I cancelled the order.

For the real taste of NYC Sichuan....
A tablespoon of this mixed in with the classic NY Times Sesame Noodles Recipe (google it), and you are transported to an upper west side chinese restaurant, circa 1975. Not all that spicy, a whiff of 5 spice powder. Essential!!

Slightly off taste
I've had good experience with other Lee Kim Kee products, and this one seems to recreate the aroma and flavor of typical Hong Kong market food stalls, yet I found it slightly off, or pungent, like a little too much fish sauce mixed with five spice powder. You mileage may vary.

Good with udon noodles.
I cooked some Japanese udon noodle and add some Sichuan spicy noodle sauce,they are really good ,but just a little sweet at first time. I would like more spicy lol anyway, I really enjoy it.
