This vest was a pleasant little surprise! To be honest I didn’t know what to expect on sizing when I ordered it. People who you see wearing these have many preferences when wearing and sometimes don’t have the right sizing option due to store inventory so it’s hard to gage what size to order. It like leaving a 4th grader to choose his shirt size at school - he’s a small but orders an large shirt and it swallows him. Or all the correct sizes are taken so they are stuck in a size that’s too big or too small. HahaI like my clothes to fit me just right. I don’t like excess baggage but I don’t like to feel constricted at all. I’m 6ft, 155 with a 30 inch waist. I wear this vest while I’m working on my art to prevent getting paint on my clothes. I decided to purchase a small and it fits perfect over a layer of clothing (usually a tshirt). The zipper works really nice and smoothly closes up the vest to provide the protection I desire. The black is a true black and is consistent in color all over the vest.As for protection from paint, anything surface level that I get on the vest protects me from damaging my clothing underneath. Now if an entire bottle poured onto me, which is highly unlikely and I’m not sure how I would manage to do that it would eventually bleed through a bit and get onto my clothing. That scenario is highly unlikely though and not a concern that I have. I’m pleased with the protection that it gives me.The price is right, the fit is spot on and it meets all of my needs. Would definitely recommend this to other artist looking for similar protection. I may even buy it in a few other colors for added options. 5 stars here for me. I work at Target, and I didn't want to spend a whole bunch of money on red shirts since I never wear red. I bought 2 of these, and can now wear whatever I want at work, as long as I wear this on the top. I never zip it, so I can't testify to the quality of that, but for $8 I honestly can't ask for much more. Sizing seems ok, I ordered a L and I'm 5'4", 150ish pounds. I will order again when they inevitably wear out. Not the greatest quality, but good enough for the price.

I needed this work because I work at target and I like wearing my own single solid color sweaters and needed this vest. The quality is good and came in good condition but it’s too long. By the way I’m 5’2.

I got tired of asking the higher-ups at work, to order me a 3XL. I am 6'4 and 275 lbs, and I had been given a 2XL and had to wear it for months, with the bottom hem sitting on my belly, instead of thighs or at the belt at least. It was tight on the shoulders, and I looked like an organ grinder's monkey. So I decided to check Amazon since the higher-ups told me I could NOT contact the contracted supplier for our vests, and I was denied the web address, when I asked for it. This company Top Tie made a good vest, that fits to size, the way they stated under the pic of the item on the listing. It's got a good zipper, and fits me the way all my same size shirts do. Amazingly, I found an iron on patch for my company logo on Amazon. Once I place that on my new vest, my spiteful solution will be COM-PLETE. (rubs hands together)

I think the quality of this vest is pretty good for the price. It's got two pockets and fits loosely.

I needed a vest that was a little longer and yet of durable construction. This is the one. Nice big zipper and nylon material. Looks pretty sturdy. For my purposes, I needed it longer in the waist and it is.

We dressed up as Jonah and Amy from Superstore and these work fantastic!They took really well to me painting all the logos onto the vest, too! So many compliments on this vest. We customized it for a costume and received nothing but awesome reviews. Great material and fun pockets for storage.
