Such a simple and effective design, perfect in it's function and well crafted. The wood is beautiful and this stand is very sturdy and easy to assemble. I'm very happy that it has a String Swing cradle as I have one that is a wall hanger and have been very happy with it. I did a lot of research before deciding on Zither and couldn't be happier with it. It's well worth it's price. I've hung both my acoustic and electric guitars on it and the stand is extremely well balanced. I keep it in my workspace so I can reach a guitar anytime while sitting on my chair. I called Zither to find out what shipping service they use (FedEx) and it was a very pleasant exchange. I payed to have the order expedited and it arrived on the day Amazon said it would. Highly recommended!

Just bought my third stand from them. Beautiful, functional stands. Again, the mahogany is darker than shown in their pictures, but that’s good as it’s even better looking than the pictures imply. These stands are pricey and I’m sure they’re making good profit on them, but it’s a great product and worth every penny. And they ship them fast, packed well, with a touch of humor.

I bought this for a Martin acoustic that I have…this stand is not only aesthetically pleasing but it is also of excellent quality. It’s perfect for a studio, your office, bedroom, or wherever you want your favorite axe hanging out reminding you it needs to be picked up and played.

First thing, absolutely, gorgeous guitar stand! !I’m a paint contractor, had a question about the mineral oil that came with it(I’m a painter who does not know it all…thats very rare in the trade lol) called the number that came with it, owner of the company answered. He was as nice as could be, I talked to him for over 30 minutes. Told him how excited I was at 57 years old to start taking guitar lessons. He was Very kind and friendly. I love 💕 this cello stand! This is my 3rd wood cello stand (and I also bought a smaller version for a guitar). It’s elegant, made out of gorgeous wood, has a bow holder, and just makes storing and securing the instrument so much easier and the cello is always within easy reach. It’s also a beautiful piece of furniture that ads elegance and warmth to any room.

In mahogany, it is a beautiful piece of useful furniture, so that my guitar is available for strumming anytime!It is exceptionally well made of natural, oiled wood - selections and prices vary, but I chose mahogany for blending with the 'heritage-maple' color tone of my home's wood decor. The hanger is 'adjustable' to a limit, but I did not have to widen it to accommodate my guitar, and the hanger is covered in a soft synthetic material so as not to abrade the guitar neck.This should last a lifetime. The company makes many models for a variety of musical instruments. Very pleased with this purchase.

Expensive price tag but the build quality and aesthetic beauty of the stand are impeccable. I bought the padauk wood model for $199.99 and mercifully there was no tax or shipping charges. It looks exactly as advertised.I’ve had it about a month and it is still generating a kind of white dust but Zither does warn that the padauk wood will do this for a time. Hopefully this will eventually go away.Price complaints aside I do love this stand and am glad I own it. It’s beautiful and I can use it in any room in the house and not feel like I need to put it away when we’re expecting company.In spite of my displeasure with the price I could not give this awesome stand anything less than 5 stars. I feel that product ratings should be based solely on the quality of the product and it’s not like I didn’t know how much it cost when I made the decision to purchase it.*UPDATE* - September 2019After 10 months my Padauk Wood stand is still generating the white film at the same rate and in the same quantities as it did when I first got it. I’m beginning to doubt that this issue will ever subside. I use the recommended English Oil religiously but within a day or two the white film is back full force.Hope this helps others who might be trying to decide between Padauk or some other wood. Unless you don’t mind having to oil your stand every other day I recommend choosing a different wood. Really bummed that I didn’t.*UPDATE* - July 2022After 3 1/2 years my Padauk wood stand is still generating white, powdery residue. It’s worse than ever. I can’t clean it everyday anymore. It feels like a “fool’s errand”. I dismantled it and stuck it in a closet.*UPDATE* - AUGUST 2022I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM DEBBIE AT ZITHER THIS MORNING. I ALSO SPOKE WITH THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY, TONY(?), WHO ALSO DESIGNS AND BUILDS THE STANDS. THEY ARE ADAMANT ABOUT SENDING ME A NEW GUITAR STAND AND REFUSED TO TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER. DEBBIE SENT ME PICTURES OF THE NEW STAND AND IT’S BEAUTIFUL. IT HAS ALREADY BEEN SHIPPED AND IS EXPECTED TO ARRIVE ON MONDAY.I researched Padauk wood after my initial purchase and I discovered that the problem I’m having is a common one for Padauk wood. Apparently Padauk wood contains oils that don’t dissipate out too easily. I’m guessing that furniture craftsmen, like Zither, purchase their Padauk wood in good faith that it has been properly cured and dried, but sometimes it just hasn’t been. It also seems that some “batches” of Padauk wood contain overly high amounts of the oils. I sympathize with the dilemma of the craftsman who wants to use Padauk. It is a beautiful wood.Zither is obviously a first rate operation. I’m gonna find a reason to buy another stand from them.

Received this as a gift and am very impressed with the quality of the stand. Gorgeous shape and fits my guitar perfectly. Easy to assemble. Love it!

My partner doesn't mind me having my guitar out because the stand and guitar together are aesthetically pleasing. The stand and guitar work together dynamically to prevent them both from toppling over - very cool. I bought a transparent dust cover and a guitar humidifier for overnight storage.

A perfect way to display a hand made Spanish guitar. Lovely lines! Very discreet when seen face on and beautifully simple and elegant from tge side view.

I use this stand for my classical guitar, it is sturdy, well finish and beautiful in my living room.
