Using for a class I’m taking. It has great information for a beginner herbalist/forager. Worth purchasing bc it list many herbs/pkants and their uses. Has some recipes.

This book is everything I wanted it to be and more! The information is clearly conveyed and flows with a personal writing style, and the instructions are concise and easy to follow. I strongly feel that we should not allow ourselves to forget the time-honored traditions and methods in which herbs can be used for health and healing, instead of solely relying on chemicals and toxins that can have adverse effects on us and our environment. I highly recommend this book! I have learned so much from it; and even my husband (who really could care less about such things) has gotten involved in finding natural antidotes and remedies in this book.

As I tell everyone, this book is my bible.

I used to own this book years ago, but had never actually used the book. When I moved, this book got lost, so I recently bought it again. I was a good read, refreshing my memory on some things. As this was a newer edition, there were some changes and updates. While I still haven't used this book in a practical manor, I will be in the future as I endeavor to make home made soaps

Arrived earlier than expected, the shpping time that they posted indicated that the shipping would take a while, but it came earlier than the alotted time. The book itself is absolutly amazing; it contains valuable information, remedies for just about anything and everything, and tips on where to start with growing your very own herbs (this includes starting your garden, placement for the herbs, etc...). This book is definitly a must-have reference/recipe book to start with. It's the kind of book that you'll continue to use for years and years. Get this book!

This is not exactly what I thought it was, or what I needed at the time I bought it (totally my fault for not paying attention to the title, I just ordered it by recommendation); but it will definitely come in handy! It is chock full of simply home remedies! Anyone who is looking for a good home remedy book, this is a good one!

this book is awesome! it has some beautiful idea and recipes for humans as well as animals. It uses all natural ingredients and covers different areas, from skin to cold. It is very well written, well organized and to the point.

Have already got ones of these but wanting another as the first one is getting tatty after so much use.
